Leonidas (300 movie) vs Captain America (First Avenger movie)

Fight takes place in a random place in Greece.

Leonidas gets his shield, spear and sword.

Captain America gets a ordinary metal shield.

This is a good example of why the battles thread is lcd and should be done away with. Of course realistically, all threads there are good examples of this.

Leonidas should win under these conditions, he is a master with spears and swords and was a REALLY skilled fighter with good strength feats.

I don't think Leonidas would kill him. Steve would find a way to win regardless. Leonidas doesn't have any enhanced abilities like Cap....he is faster, stronger, has better agility, and a lot of combat experience. What does Leonidas have that Cap doesn't? Cap will outlast him.

@spawngengiskhan: Whata hel!. Since when do Captain America have better combat experience than Leonidas? Leonidas done spartan training since he was like 8 years old, Steve started around his 30's to take the serum and THEN he trained by millitary just like a few months i believe. So no way do Cap have better expereince than Leonidas.

Have Cap ever fought skilled sword wielding opponents ? No.

Cap doesn't even need any kind of shield, he grabs the spear and breaks it, grabs the shield and tosses Leonidas away , then Leonidas tries the sword and Cap one shots him. Please lock this.

Here is also a great feat of strength as you see one guy who flied away by shielding the large blade coming against him but Leonidas shielded that blade without much effort.

And a skill feat he shown to use fast reactions and things he learnt from his past.

@mtuske: I sure have said i haven't watched it but i have a brother who is a Captain America geek and he watched it on Cinema and told me almost everything about it.

Trailers/scenes is also enough to tell how powerful one are.

I post this one before. You see him showing great accuracy throwing his spear while running and great strength by bashing people over his head with his shield with ease.

At the ending Leonidas was shot by 3 arrows i believe in the stomach and in the chest and was still standing.

You've confirmed that you haven't seen the Winter Soldier movie. How about you go see the film so you can save everyone the trouble of reading your uninformed posts. You're still in the Cap vs Bane thread making ridiculous claims. You could put, Batman, Bane, and Leonidas on a team (movie versions of course) and Cap would throw them around like children. The Winter Soldier film confirms this as well as the previous Cap films. When people who have actually seen all the films tell you that Cap would destroy (insert character), you should listen to them.
