Who wins?
Ralphael is stronger but Leonardo more skillful. Skill normally beats power if the power difference isn't too big
So question. Early on, there was that scene where they were hiding out on a farm and they started fighting, and Raph threw Leo through a wall. Was it ever explicitly stated that was an anomaly due to the circumstances (Leo being hard on himself for being beat up by the Foot clan and not really up to his usual self), or is that sort of an unspoken conclusion everyone drew based on the universal understanding that Leo is the more skilled of the two?
Leo should win.Raphael though physically stronger, isn't much skilled when compared relatively to Leo.Their physical strength difference is also not very large.Leo's edge in skill is greater than Raphael's edge in strength.So leo should win.
Or is this Leonardo Da Vinci vs. Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino?
That's exactly what I thought. Raphael is underrated, I like his paitings better.
I think leo takes this one. as hes the leader for a reason. also i think its a Ryu vs Ken situation where Ryu is the more defensive (Wait for an opening and pounce on it) While Ken is the more Aggressive of the Two and makes plenty of mistakes in which to pick off of.
Dang I was just watching ninja turtles too from the 90s. Gotta love that movie.
Leo wins this in a normal fight, he’s the leader for a reason and has better reach via Katana. But Ralph wins if he’s angry or bloodlusted. Ralph gets stronger when he’s angry. But loses control of himself.

@mr_shazam0920: I thought Leo won that? Didn't he end up unmasking raph and raph took advantage? I could be misremembering.
Leo's superior fighting skills should be able to overcome the physical difference between them, and should give him the win more time than not.
IIRC Leo had the initial advantage but then Raph went into rage mode, and actually broke one of Leo’s swords. Raph snapped out of it and left the scene, and then Leo got captured because he was left too weak to defend himself.
@mr_shazam0920: I rewatched the scene you're correct.
@mr_shazam0920: According to the Novelization, the moment Leo found out it was Raph, he held back most of his skill. He wanted to show Raph what he was becoming and what he was capable of. And sure enough, his rage almost made him take his own brother's life. Leo won the first two rounds but if he had won the third, Raph would never learn his lesson and he'd run away again, possibly risking his life even more recklessly.
