From the episodes I've seen, I have to agree. I didn't leave a comment about the 2003 show though, because I haven't watched enough of it.
ITs on youtube, all of it. I highly recommend it. Mikey is the best, its shown repeatedly. He wins the Battle Nexus, but he faced Raph whose anger got the best of him, and splinter who let him win. But later on they are training in a "Danger room" like the Xmen's and it was Leo and Raph vs Mikey and neither could lay a finger on him. Even after that there was is Robot version of the Shredder called Cyber-Shredder, and he was beating Leo, Raph and Don all at once, then Mikey swings in and literally stomps him solo.
@allstarsuperman: Sweet. Whenever I have time, I'm going to start getting caught up. The problem is that I'm doing that with too many shows/comics lately. I'm going to do my best though!
Leonardo is the leader of the group. He trains the most, works the hardest and is as a result a very skilled fighter. He is the most serious of the bunch. He hates Raphael's bad attitude.
Current IDW is definitely Leo with Mikey in second. Then it would probably be Don then Raph, but these are probably interchangeable for third and fourth which is weird because Raph is usually the main man in every other version.
My man Raph wins, he's stronger and just as skilled. Once he focused his talent he could beat the other 3 brothers at once. Splinter himself called him unique among his brothers, he's an absolute badass.DAMMM!
@gracetrack: agree Leo tries harder in training but Raph in a fight to the death alwyas wins he's too skilled and stronger. Once he channels his anger it's over.
The only version of TMNT that would end in a stomp would be the 2003 TMNT, in favor of Leonardo. He was shown to handle all three of his brothers at once, one point in that series.
Leonardo his definitely the best fighter because of his state of mind during fighting while Raph lets anger cloud his judgement and hes easily frustrated, his mind is his weakness.
Leonardo is obviously the most skilled turtle since he was placed as leader of the others, despite Don’s intelligence and Raph’s grit. Most of you are overplaying Sai’s effectiveness against swords. If they were that effective, Samurai would’ve wielded them instead of katanas and Leo has two of them. I give it to Leo 6 times out of 10
Samurai did not choose swords, Samurai used bow + horse whenever they could, and later in firearms. indeed medieval "knights" also used firearms in their later times, and hardly chose a sword as their main weapon.
Katana sucks if we are talking about a war or facing a decent armored opponent.
Sai piercing can easily be more effective in the face of the turtles shell defense
