Legolas vs Indominus Rex

Legolas finds himself in Jurassic World's forests, toe-to-claw with the infamous Indominus Rex. He has standard knowledge on what the I-Rex can do.

He has 30 arrows in his quiver and an elven dagger, 20 meters apart against the I-Rex.

Indominus took bullets like a champ, and survived getting her neck crunched multiple times by a Tyrannosaurus. She can run 30mph so he isn't outrunning her for very long. I know Legolas is incredibly skilled, but what is he gunna do to her? His arrows won't penetrate her back, and won't do much damage if he did shoot her belly, as she easily walked off bullets and those taser gun blasts. None of our modern day weapons had any sort of effect on her aside from when the explosion from the rocket knocked her down, which she then immediately got back up and continued running. Indominus wins.

@AssertingValor: because bullets were bouncing off her back, I don't see an arrow piercing it if bullets just bounce off. Her stomach, yes an arrow probably could penetrate there, but even then she took bullets and kept walking, also she took an explosion that blew up right beside her and she jumped back up and kept running. She soaked up a lot of punishment and showed an incredible capacity for learning. She outsmarted people multiple times, when she saw the helicopter she made a B-line straight for the pterosaur dome and scared them all so they flew away in terror. She knew what her tracker did, and remembered where they put it. She was scary smart for a dinosaur, she very quickly learned how to kill an Ankylosaur in her first encounter with one. She has size, speed and strength on her side, and they only start 20 meters apart, she can run 30mph which is about 50kmh that's only a couple of steps for her as she is about 15 meters long, possibly longer. I don't think legolas could do much in the amount of time it takes for her to take two steps and eat him.

@harbingerofmomz: I would just like to point out that just because a bullet couldn't penetrate her hide doesn't mean an arrow won't be able to. Arrows and bullets work completely differently and deliver completely different types of force and trauma. Also, your point isn't even accurate, bullets can a d did go through her hide and harm her, just look at Owen shooting her with his lever action rifle in the final battle.

Should be I-rex. Then again, you can never be sure.. 'cause Legolas... he's better than us..!

@paragonnate: can you show me where the lever action rifle that fire rhino rounds pierce her skin, from what i watch it did nothing to her.

@paragonnate: into her stomach, maybe, on her back, no. I know what you're talking about but I do not remember seeing it pierce her at anytime, I might go see it again on the weekend and I will definitely look out this time, but I can't remember an instance where it did any sort of damage to her. Even if it could she took insane punishment from that T-Rex, I don't see arrows doing that much damage to her, other than her eyes, even then there is only 20ft between them and she is very fast, there are situations where legolas could win, but this is not one of them, none of his weapons will do enough damage to her.

When it comes out on DVD, I will have to look that part up. I swore there was nothing spurting out. We will see when its out on DVD, or some boot leg of the fight on Youtube.

I watched it again today, she was indeed hurt from the helicopter minigun from before but the rifle itself did no damage.

Legolas will have to aim for critical and soft spots to win this. Maybe a few arrows in her throat and mouth could cause damage. The eyes are also vulnerable, but im not sure if Legolas can take her down before she gets him. No matter how fast Legolas is....he cant outrun her

The I-rex is just a big dumb dinosaur

Legilas has made some crazy accurate shots under intense pressure. Im sure he can hit her eye first time. In the movie, she did nothing to avoid being shot. She gladly tanked every bullet past the mini gun. She wouldnt think to try to dodge or cover her eyes from the first arrow, maybe the second; even then, Legolas has been shown to be able to shoot multiple arrows at once with deadly precision.

the velociraptors were also able to easily jump on I-rex and remain on top of her damaging her back for a while. Legolas should manage to easily hop on his and instantly go for the head kill.

Legolas will Kill I-Rex. Only need 10 Arrows to put here down. One in both eyes then two more on it's side then she's dead.

raptors could cling on because they have sharp claws to puncture the skin and hang on. Legolas wont have that. Not saying he wont be able to, just that the raptor argument is flawed

2nd. The Mumakil had harnesses and spikes and arrows on it that he could hold on to in order to climb, the I-Rex doesnt. Also, the mumakil was not trying to attack him or throw him off, it was just walking. The I-Rex will be trying to get him off and kill him. again, not saying he can't , just saying you cant really compare the 2

The dagger is way to short to do any fatal damage, and arrows aren't capable of piercing.
