@wkar: Movie versions, I assume, since that's what's pictured? And what's an "arc" for Legolas? His arrows?

Movie Cap doesn't have the same level of feats with his shield that comic Cap does; I'd say comic Cap would never get hit by anyone's arrows. But even movie Cap is pretty good with them. I'd say Legolas is still a bit faster than Cap, but Cap is stronger (despite Legolas' apparent ability to throw mountains!). Starting at 60 meters, Legolas has a lot of time to shoot at Cap, but I don't think it's going to help. Cap can't throw his shield though, if he did Legolas would definitely dodge and shoot Cap in the meantime. So I guess Cap eventually closes and probably beats him in hand to hand. Still close though.

Doesn't Legolas completely outmatch Cap physically and accuracy-wise?

And LEgolas, Cap hasn't got range attacks cos he can't afford to throw his shield, because legolas will dodge AND cos he's defenceless from legolas' 100% accuracy without. Cap needs a gun.

It's obvious that whenever Captain America threw his shield, even if he missed, it would act as a boomerang and come back to him. Plus, he has 4 times the intelligence, speed, metabolism (it works four times faster), and can even lift 8 to 10 TONS. Sure you could throw a mountain at him, but you know, he could just run at miss it. Arrows are not something to worry about. A shield would just make the bounce off and come back to Legolas. And the last point I would love to make is that even if Captain America lost his shield, he'd find something in nature to use, which is not against the rules. I say Captain America would win, hands down.

If its movie versions, then Legolas takes the win. His elven reflexes are faster than Cap's stacked human reflexes. All Leoglas needs is a split second to fire an unguarded Cap. and He can shoot multiple arrows at once, making it way harder on Cap. His senses (that all elves have) would give him stealth advantage. Up close, (which i doubt happens) Cap's odds go way up. I say Legolas takes the win 7 out of 10.

Cap would win. Legolas has got acrobatics on him, but Cap is stronger and more skilled.

All elves have increased speed, stamina and metabolism when compared to normal people, so it's not that great of an advantage. Legolas can put Cap down if he loses his shield. That is not exactly how his shield works though, arrows don't at any time bounce off the shield (at least not that I can remember from any MCU movie). If it's up close, Cap wins 8/10 but if Legolas keeps his distance, he wins 6-7/10.

Civil War's and Endgame's Cap takes this with very absolute ease.
