@thatguywithheadphones: I agree on all accounts. However, Zuko can redirect lightning. He is also a powerful firebender, (especially during Sozin's Comet) which Laxus has no defense against except dodging. Zuko can win as long as he keeps distance between him and Lazus, which he is fully capable of. Here are some links to what Zuko can do.

Lemme know when Zuko has redirected lightning anywhere near as powerful as what Laxus can project. Or should we assume he can do the same with Thor since "Zuko can redirect lightning."

Laxus could beat Zuko to death with his bare hands. Casually. Laxus is stronger, faster, more experienced, and meaner. Zuko can litrally do nothing here.

Natsu showed even in the very beginning his flames could melt steel. And he was hitting Laxus with everything he had to no avail. It took Laxus wasting power on Thunder Palace and a Fairy Law that didn't work for Natsu to win. And even if it didn't his Heavenward Halberd would have annihilated Natsu if Gajeel didn't redirect it.

This isn't even. At. All.

Keeping his Range.. I'd rather be in close combat then in range of Laxus.. lmao. But really Zuko fire is probably a warm summer breeze to Laxus.. This fights not even close :P

@blackwind: How can you tell how powerful Lazus's lightning is compared to lightning Zuko has redirected? Also, whenever they were discribing the technique, they never said it mattered how strong the lightning was, just that you didn't screw up.

When did this feat happen?Anyway, the firebenders usually use fire to explode, not to burn or melt, so I don't think it's fair comparing Natsu's flames to Zuko's technique. Zuko can casualy explode a large rock an earthbender sent at his head and destroyed a shield of crystals Aang bended that were far larger than him. Also, this is during Sozin's Comet, where Zuko's power if 100 times the power he gets from the sun, so how do you know he can't melt steel? 100 times the power to explode large rocks should be able to melt steel

@dbvse7: Let's not even forget Zuko has only shown he can redirect straight bolts. Laxus isn't limited to that kind of projection. He can cause lightning to shoot from the ground like a geyser.

Natsu melted part of an ax right in the very beginning of the series. And Laxus took plenty of his best attacks. And even in the end it was shown Natsu was more beaten up than he was. It was so obvious Laxus>Natsu-Gajeel I don't even know how its a question.

Everyone is saying Laxus wins. You just aren't accepting it. And he doesn't even need his powers to win.

As much as I dislike FT even I know The Avatarverse would get solo'd by Laxus. This is an obvious Mismatch seeing how Zuko even with Sozin Comet is Streetlevel.

Sorry folks but todays winner is no doubt Laxus Dreyar, hands down because Zukko is about to get one shot by an artificial Dragon Slayer. But a Dragon Slayer is still a Dragon Slayer no doubt, and they alone are experts of creating great deal of damage towards their enemies and the area around them.

Its not that bad a match, but Laxus still wrecks Zuko. Zuko's best attacks might do damage, but there is a massive speed gap, and Laxus can beat his within a couple of attacks.

Laxus is far stronger, has a higher energy output (can generate lightning far stronger than some of the greatest firebenders could with Sozin's Comet amp - i.e. neither Iroh nor Ozai showed the ability to output as much lightning as Laxus could, and I'm referring to a Laxus whose not at his maximum output.), higher durability and greater speed.

I'm an Avatar fan but even I know that this is a stomp for Laxus.
