Shiva doesn't really resort to weaponry, as she tends to rely almost exclusively on her own hand to hand combat skills. Black Widow has more offensive gear at her disposal, although she is not Shiva's equal in skill.

Black Widow takes 6-7/10 fights.

Natasha might manage to shoot Shiva if she gets really really really really really really lucky. But when Shiva gets close it's over. Shiva wins 9-10/10. If it's pre 52 versions, New 52 I don't know as I haven't seen any of her feats post reboot.

New 52 Shiva loses IMO. She hasn't been impressive outside of ambushing batman with poison ninja stars and beating on nightwing when his ribs were broken.

Pre new 52 this goes similar to shiva vs cat woman.

Shiva is too skills for Black Widows. I'm sure Shiva could predict when Black Window about to shoot avoid it, close the distance and break Black Window's silicons.

Black Widow shoots her. And I'd argue she's faster as well, Nat has deflected bullets from the Punisher and has reacted to a sniper rifle by feeling the air pressure change.

Shiva has 0 chance of losing to Natasha in h2h. But if Natasha gets a really lucky shot then she could possibly beat a wounded shiva. I say LS takes 9.5/10

what about all the other gadgets BW has will LS be able to dodge them too?

@superman19: nah. Shiva lacks reaction feats. I see no reason why Nat couldn't take her down with gun, widow bite, or knock out gas.

If Black Widow keeps her distance and uses weaponry, BW. Shiva would 0wn in H2H.

If this is shiva as she was intended to be, she'll completely own Natasha

As usual people show they haven't read the battle forum rules, no distance was given so the two characters start close to each other in which case Black Widow gets her a** kicked.

Pre-New 52 Lady Shiva beats in every sense.

New 52 Lady Shiva dies so quickly.

Any version of Shiva loses a majority. She has no bullet dodging feats. While Black Widow can deflect bullets and even dodge them by feeling air pressure changes. Shiva has top tier H2H skill, gerr hurgle derr. Guess what? Its practically irrelevant when Black Widow is packing guns, tear gas, a variety of grenades, and Widows bite.

Shiva still wrecks.

That's just about her absolute best feat to the point of being a total outier.

Shiva is a better fighter than elektra, and Widow stale mating elektra is quite honestly her highest end skill feat as far as I know. That and just because they stalemated once doesn't mean they will stalemate every time. Elektra would take a majority against Natasha.

Pre-52 one shots with her eyes closed,I only bring up the Pre-52 version because of the picture. Nat beats the current version.

Honestly, all weapons to the side, Romanov isn't messing with Shiva H2H. The ONLY thing that gives her and edge, in my opinion, is her arsenal. Shiva would light her up if they went fist to fist.

It doesn't specify a version, its even using a Pre-Flashpoint Shiva pic created by the OP. Either way, both Shivas take a clear victory over Nat.
