Light is a special case....he is just as smart as shikamaru if not smarter. But I think L is better than batman

While L himself said that he has a special connection with Light making it easier to track his movements, Batman is simply outclassed here. Too many of his rogues have discovered his identity and ones that are far less intelligent than Light. If Batman were looking for Light it would take long i would say too.
