My girl Ming Hua screws Kuvira up. Ming Hua is on par with her teammates, and as we saw at the end of Season 3, Kuvira was no match for any single White Lotus member. Ming Hua beats her.
@raimundopedrosa: to be fair, P'li is a very different opponent from Ming Hua, and Kuvira's arguably improved since then with new techniques and is now on par with Suyin
Kuvira has a very fast, effective style that's hard to defend against without being a metalbender, however, I don't see the metal bands stopping Ming Hua from controlling her arms. Could go either way
Ming Hua. Tagging a water arm with a band won't do anything, so limits Kuviras options of what is a realistic target.
In a neutral environment Ming mid-high dif because she counters Kuvira's style. Ming borderline stomps Kuvira in the North Pole.
@mial42: This is the north pole? Lol. Kuvira gets ragdolled.
@vengefulshot: Yeah, by P'li's prison.
I would generally put Kuvira's Colossus above even the best firebenders during Sozin's Comet, but given how slippery it'll be in the North or South Pole, I think that Ming-Hua will will in the North Pole even against Kuvira's Colossus, just because the North Pole waterbenders, especially on Ming-Hua's level, are broken af!
But one wrong move, and Ming-Hua will be wiped out by power that's stronger than even Sozin's Comet!
Ming Hua wins, she’s too fast, too versatile, too agile, too deadly, and in a neutral environment (not inside a metal robot) Ming Hua will overwhelm her.
Ming Hua. Kuvira's whole schtick is being faster than her opponent and putting them down with a metal sheet. When she is put against someone faster and more agile/maneuverable than her, she goes down.
Ming Hua 9/10
Ming’s likely gonna resort to swinging around the compound in attempt to throw off Kuvira, however these pillars she’d use can be bent/sabotaged by Kurvira. Once things comes to a head, Kuvira’s the smarter, more lethal and tactical combatant of the two. Ming’s faster but that’s really all she’s bringing to the table.
Kuvira slits her throat, Ming doesn’t get better with more water.
real. She got beat by Mako who is pretty mediocre (still love him tho)
@ben2004: you just might be the first person i’ve seen that actually likes Mako lol
like most people in TLOK, he was done dirtyyyyyyyyy. Plus I tend to flock to characters that are over-hated.

Yeah, in B1 Mako did seem like he'd be more powerful than he ended up being. He has a few decent things on his resume, but a lot of losses + being a boring character most people hate didn't do him any favors. He also managed to fumble both Korra and Asami which is a huge L.

Personally I find Asami boring and Korra insufferable (was beginning to like her around S3-S4 but hated her in the comics). The fumble was not entirely his fault but yeah. Shit was painful.
ming is fast and powerful enough beat kurvia. she wins here especially if she starts with her 4 tentacles. she is a good counter to kuvira
ok in a fair environment i'd say Ming hua
however you put it in plis prison which is still surrounded by ice and water so ming stomps Kuvira.
In theory with the North Pole backing her, Kuvira having pretty much no earth available to her, and her only being able to rely on her gear at hand, Ming should be able to win, and fairly easily at that. But the issue with Ming Hua is she just doesn't have any feats of her creating any form of waterbending defense, and she doesn't have any environmental-manipulation feats either, besides trapping Bolin in a bubble from a pool, which is good, but was also against someone who was already incapacitated basically, and it wasn't a combat-scenario since Bolin was trying to swim away from Ghazan, so it's questionably relevant.
Kuvira is very restricted here, but she doesn't actually rely on much more than what she has in this fight. She only tends to use her standard gear, and the occasional environmental earthbending. I don't see Ming being able to evade or defend against her attack rate. I also just in general think Kuvira is a much smarter and more refined fighter. Ming Hua is kind of a one trick pony, and tends to get overly reckless and aggressive. Kuvira's patient style, superior range and attack rate, and Ming's lack of answers to that, should net her a majority even in this setting. In a neutral environment I don't see how this is all that close.
