Will the penance stare really work on Kuurth? I have my doubts and nothing to back it up. But I think Kuurth will take this.

@the darknessss: i would say stalemate, the OP picture is that of Kuurth before he lost cyttorak powers and i fail to see how Gr could even hurt him. would PS work? dont know didnt work on deadpool and didnt work on Venom (or was it carnage).

Kuurth.

I doubt Kuurth's hammer is seen as a holy weapon, how is kuurth going to beat GR??

#12 Posted by the darknessss (2750 posts) - 1 year, 7 months ago - Show Bio

@Killemall: good points there, could the hammer be seen as a holy object though? he is worshshipped i think, and to his followers he will be seen a "holy"?

#13 Posted by Boobster (1608 posts) - 1 year, 7 months ago - Show Bio

@Killemall: GR gets slammed by some demons possessing guys like Wolverine or Daredevil. He is a joke.

that's the big loop hole in Gr power, anyone who is holy or unholy can affect him highly! the problem with Kuurth is , no doubt he is an awesome powerful fighter, asgardians at least in comics are neither seen as holy nor really godly, this is because thor's hammer did not affect ghost rider in the fight they were into. So unless that holy thing comes to play Gr is pretty much unstoppable he heals from any and all injuries.

Asgardinas arent seen as holy for some reason in comics, like i mentioned earlier Thor hammer did not affect ghost rider like the way other holy weapons affect him. Besides, ghost rider generally is only affected by things from hell such as demons and shit like that, Kuurth is a part of god of fear and as such is not from hell, i really doubt that would affect Gr.

But i still dont see what Gr could do either, i am extremely skeptical to say PS would work coz it hasnt worked in few odd occasions. Hellfire shouldnt hurt juggy because well he still as cyttorak power since Kuurth in the pic still has his helmet on.

I am still moving towards Stalemate here.

Ghost Rider bodies Lucifer (a hell lord), and makes Dr. Strange (pre-loss of his Sorceror Supreme powers) his prison b****. Demons in Wolverine should have been nothing. Aaron was wanking Hellverine at that point.

That being said, Penance Stare isn't going to do anything. It didn't work on Sin, it's not going to work on Kuurth. It's a stalemate. They can't harm each other.

I will bump this Thread and say GR loses badly. GR could BFR Kuurth into Hell with him and fight on a Omnipotent Scale. In this Scenario... not so much. Kuurth Magic will also wreck GR. GR is affected by both Magic and Divine.

What can kuurth do? It looks to me like he is no differant from an ordinary juggernaut. And also do he have any feats that he would be immune to the spirit of vengeance hellfire and penance stare

Kuurth can't be BFR'ed and can't be mindraped unlike old Juggernaut. He can fly or at least levitate too.

Ok...I already new that juggernaut can't be BFR'd. But if levitation is the only thing he has different from other juggs. Then I don't see him winning this. Juggernaut is a brute...he has no versatility to his combat style. Ghost Rider is very versatile. And high levels of magic and mystical attacks can harm juggs just like it does to ghost rider. And all of ghost rider attacks are mystical. Even tho neither one of them will take permanent damage because of their healing capabilities. I can see ghost rider incapacitating him with hellfire chains or the penance stare. I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

@ghost_rider1: Kuurth is the combination of Classic Juggernaut stats and power with The Worthy Powers. This makes him >>>> to Thor in stats alone.

As the worthy is took a Colosanaut to even make a dent in JUST the Worthy Powers of Kuurth. Now add the 2 together and you get the most powerful Worthy out of the bunch. Zarathos is good, but he is not easily defeating Juugernaut Powers combine with Thor Powers and stats to match.

Zarathos as tough as he is can still be harmed by Magic. Powerful Magic like the Serphants Hammer (Sky Father weapon) and Cyrrotak Power (Crimson Gem) should be too much.

So basically ur saying kuurth is a thor and juggernaut put into one being?
#26 Posted by chiq (1204 posts) - 2 months, 15 days ago - Show Bio

@ghost_rider1: It's all speculative I guess since we never saw anything that harmed Kuurth powered by two powerful beings.

#27 Posted by CadenceV2 (9849 posts) - 2 months, 15 days ago - Show Bio

@ghost_rider1: Yes. He has the Powers of Classic Juggernaut and added with the Power set of being 1 of the Worthy.

Ok...well kuurth is the more powerful character here. But I think this fight will ultimately boil down to whether ghost rider can keep him restrained long enough for the penance stare. I doubt ghost rider or anyone in their right mind will try to go blow for blow with kuurth. If the penance stare doesn't work then ghost rider loses...but i honestly dnt see why it wouldn't.

A penance stare wont really harm Kuurth. Kuurth is invulnerable to all damage. Kuurth wins by KO.

I dont think the hammer counts as a "holy" weapon.

#30 Posted by thanosii (283 posts) - 2 months, 15 days ago - Show Bio

the penance stare is useless infact when ghost rider tried one one of the worthy in that arc he was overwhelmed by the evil and went into a coma ( with sin i beleive) So if thats all he can try he auto loses. Kuurth had lightning and was impevious to all attempts, GR cant burns him because IIRC he absorbed heat and used against the xmen. He stomps here spite
