Kryptonians vs Viltrumites

No prep, no bfr, no time limit, both races(of 400,000 soldiers each) are bloodlusted, takes place on an uninhabited Earth(no bystanders) within a yellow sun system, both races are completely unarmed and must rely solely on their powers to win, and no one race is declared victor until the other race is completely destroyed.

Kryptonians. Comparable stats for both races but heat vision, arctic breath, and hyper senses give the edge to Krypton.

Kryptonians win this battle. Would be quite a sight, but Kryptonians simply have better feats if we're talking about physical stats.

They have Prime, Kal Kent, Kara, Powergirl, Zod etc... Ofcourse theyre gonna win :P

now wait, i have read up on both, yeah kryponians have more powers but viltrumites have there own advantage: they have lived for hundreds of years and are always figting so not only experince but there fighting skills are way up, i would say about even

kryptonians would destroy viltrumites, there is no contest. don't forget, doomsday is also kryptonian and he was strong enough to kill superman.

Not really, they can store sunlight for days on end before needing to recharge.

kryptonians under the yellow sun given enough time to meet with supes stats would kill the voltrimuite race. the vol race are born with super strength but not all of them are as strong as omniman,invincible,conquest or thrak . the kryptonians win but if both worlds were to be in the same universe and the voltrimite found the kryptonians a threat to their empire they would wipe them.Kryptonians rely on a yellow sun to give them their strength without it they revert to squishy life forms ,with the numerous advance life forms under the vols control they could make them invent a weapon to destroy a star. Without a yellow sun they wont retain their strength and any planet they migrate to would be doomed, their prosecuters will destroy the star of any system they move into. An extreme measure but not something a race conquering people who practice genocide as a pass time would shy from.But they dont need to go to such lengths when the kryptonians government created red energy beams that could kill them in one shot. Mass produce weapons to keep your people in line they created their own kryptonite that could be stolen and mass produced.

i was thinking of a war between them before their planet blew up and before the virus.

kryptonians under a yellow star are stronger than viltrumites but without it the time in which they remain superior shortens. a few days of stored energy will not be enough to reach a planet where viltrumites inhabit, and knowing their enemy is powered by a yellow sun the vol. will not pick a solar system with a yellow sun. Not only would their energy reserves be depleting by the time they reach the battle zone but with a red sun over them they would stand no chance.The vol. would exterminate all threats to their empire any yellow star within their empire may be destroyed to keep their superiority while choosing red solar systems as the battle field.

Kryptonians and mainly because they have two extra weapons, eye lasers and breath. Viltrumite's don't! With Zod leading the Kryptonian's they let out a 40,000 strong laser blast as their first long range attack. The battle then goes downhill from there for the "invincible" people

The Kryptonians in a stomp. The Viltrumites are simply not that powerful. They are beyond the Kryptonians in strenght and durability. While they should have the fighting experience on their side, it's still a valid argument to say that one of their most powerful warriors (Conquest) got defeated by an inexperienced half-Viltrumitekid (Invincible). The Viltrumite-leader could pull off some crazy stuff during the combat, but I see the Kryptonites actually being invulnerable to physical damage (to a certain degree), while the Viltrumites are simply insanely durable and can fight through a lot of pain and damage. 
The Kryptonians also have few more powers like the heat vision, which could be important in this fight and they could maybe even try to leave for sundips.

Never liked that the Kryptonians lose their powers under a red sun, or if they leave the vicinity of a yellow star. Despite their stored energy, any battle which requires them to use alot of their strength will run their reserves down fast. I would prefer it if say Kryptonians like Kal-El who matured under a yellow sun all their life evolved to the point where red solar radiation would simply weaken their powers to a degree but not remove them.

they have better feats. not sure who is stronger, since both superman and omni-man are both able to lift over 100-tons. but kryptonians have the range advantage, they have heat vision and freeze breath

VERy close fight.

Vilitrumites have very good strength feat. THey're warriors and very tough. Tougher than the Ks tbh. When the Invincible and the aother two traitors destroyed the planet, they had no scratch. but when they started trading fists, the Vilitrumites were beating them really bad.

They're VERY durable, invulnerable, and strong. They also fight w/o any mercy whatsoever. And they have been fighting like that for a while.

A straight H2H would be a mess for both. eyeballs flying, heads exploding..... But the Kyrptonians have better strength and flight feats. But that's because they have a longer history. And they have other very powerful powers. Kryptonians are godlike. Their heat vision could possibly kill the Vils.

I'd say a 8/10.... but all fought with at least ten last men standing scenarios

Haven't seen anything out of the Viltrumites that suggests they can have a full on war with the Kryptonians. Think about it, Superman himself is just an average Kryptonian. Compared to an average Viltrumite (Like Omni-man), Superman seems as powerful as one of the Viltrumite elites. I think it's safe to say that Kryptonians stomp.

Supes is generally shown to be stronger than other Kryptonians. Even those that should supposedly be stronger than him(Supergirl).

But i agree nonetheless.

The only thing that Viltrumites have over Kryptonians is ruthlessness, but physical wise, they're hopelessly outmatch (even intellectual-wise, Kryptonians still scored better), not to mention Kryptonians has super senses, arctic breath, and heat vision.

are we assuming that these kryptonians has there powers for as long as superman has? then they win. kryptonians who just randomly get powers wont be much of a threat to vultrimites because they wont know what they are doing.

Viltrumites are far more brutal, experienced, and resilient. They can recover from injuries that'd kill a Kryptonian.

But their durability is much lower.

No their strength is lower. Their durability is equal or greater

No, all Kryptonians is capable of flying right through the Sun and "average" Kryptonian like Superman can get punched through the Earth with almost no injuries, no to mention he have tanked the equivalent of a million nuclear bomb while weakened and survive proximity to supernova. One of the Viltrumite said that they can get killed from flying through the planet if the core is not softened first.

Just because they have higher pain tolerance doesn't mean that their durability is higher.

@angryhulks: superman isnt an average kryptonian.. he has had his powers all his life and has done plenty of sun dips.

Superman's power developed slower than most Kryptonian, most other Kryptonians seems to be equal to him regardless of how long Superman had his powers. What makes Superman standout is only because he's live with his power longer and is more used to fighting with it.

@angryhulks: he also holds back a large margin of his powers.... most kryptonians dont have the willpower or moral base to act as he does with his powers. he would win against most other kryptonians in a morals off situation except for a few like H'el ( Different power source/set), superman of different realities ( kingdom come, Superman Prime, and Superboy of Earth-prime) because there energy absorption/ power sets are superior

Kryptonians. Even if we were to assume they have equal strength, Kryptonians have heat vision, freeze breath, super breath, in some continuities telekinesis, and better speed feats as well. Now adding all these extra powers and assuming Kryptonians are stronger than Viltrumites, then we have a massive win for Krypton.

And the same with the kryptonians how much sun light have they had

The viltrumites will have age and better stragey thus them being a war race

And all they have to do is remove a kryptonian from the yellow sun

Kryptonians have far more abilities than the viltrumites but this can also bd there weakness if not trained well

If we had thragg vs zod

It would be close with them both being millatry thragg is older and wiser and is nearly invincible ( no puns intended )

Omi man was blasted with point blank with a ray gun and it didn't even scratch him nor singe his hair so thragg must be atleast 20x stronger and more durable

Zod is in the same ball park as long as he is under a yellow sun

As long as the fight stays above ground zod has it in his favor a little but thragg is smart and will take the fight underground or in space but all together I would give the fight to thragg.
