The Heart of the Universe is the embodiment of all power in the Marvel universe. The power of the artifact is arguably only second to the TOAA. But I'll go with a stalemate. I'm not so sure. Krona is an insanely powerful being as well.

well krona nevern beat galactus with his own power at all anyway he was entropy+he had the power of many universes. but he is better with the artifacts anyway but the Best he did was Imprision Eternity and Kismet who are lower then living tribunal but now that you mention it i think Krona with Artifacts agianst Living Tribunal alone would be a tussle Thanos casualy owned LT , Eternity , Infinity , Galactus , The Marvel Heroes , Villians and Cosmic Being like nothing, Thanos wins IMO.
Krona beat Galactus aka jla vs avengers, Krona Anti-Matter Universe is created, unleashing evil into the cosmos; thus, the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor are born.

You just said it. He was set up by TOAA. Why and how? You guys claim he was Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent with the HOTU when he was definitely far away from being Omniscient. Otherwise, he would have known already that TOAA was manipulating him.
Omniscient = Knowing everything. He didn't.

He knew that TOAA was playing him. He sat on his favorite planet to await the end when Eternity just came and blasted Thanos' planet into smithereens; then things escalated. At the end, Thanos killed them all because he was angry that they teamed up against him even though he had done nothing wrong and the universe was doomed anyway
Omniscient = knowing everything= including knowing that he cant do anything to save the MU with the HOTU except for using it to restore the entire MU as TOAA intended,.

Did we read the same story?? Didn't seem unstable when he absorbed the who MU and remade it, had no problem whatsover with it's power. Sorry, this is a joke, imo.
Thanos already won when he obtained HOTU. I agree, only the presence or TOAA are only ones who can stop him. Probably Elaine Belloc or GEB are able too, but that's debatable.
Krona created the multiverse and is immortal. Not to mention he beat galactas and the grandfather with ease. Both of which have been stronger than thanos. Also krona destroys multiverses at a time so a little trinket that makes thanos god-Like doesn't compair to krona who created gods. Imo thanos even with the heart Couldn't take on the monitor or even superman prime.
Not to mention Darkseid is HOTU thanos strong and can't stand up to krona. Also HOTU has no continuity on marvel therefore it isn't cannon making it invalid in a fight vs krona. But it would be close
To summarise what i am gong to say Thanos wins with HOTU, without it krona wins, but i am looking up for krona because he is unique in a way (my personal feeling). ignore the HOTU i am going to explain how krona can actually win old thanos. Even with the IG krona can actually win thanos because he can absorb energy of anything that has energy and he is virtually immortal cannot die and has a healing factor. he destroyed and enslaved thousands of universes. Krona is responsible for the creation of the power rings and has many power rings and can control any. Krona defeated grandmaster and galactus with ease and with the jla and the avengers fighting him( still won all of them) and galactus defeated thanos hence saying krona WINS against thanos, without HOTU.
