@xlr87t3: Basically, "mid-tier" are the characters that are above street level, but not quite full on powerhouses/high-tier.

Examples of mid-tier would be Venom, Midnighter, Master Chief, Cyborg, Iron Man, and arguably Aquaman.

Saying "high" or "low" mid-tier just specifies how close they are to being powerhouses or street levelers. If they're high mid-tier (e.g. Iron Man and Aquaman) then that means they're close to powerhouses but not quite there. Low mid-tier means they're close to street-levelers, but just slightly above.

Basically, think of it like this: Anybody who would lose an obvious majority to Superman, Hulk, Thor, and WW(not all at the same time of course, I'm talking about individually), but win a majority against Spider-Man(who is arguably mid-tier himself) is a mid-tier.
