thank you!
Bump, this may have discussion value, and I want to see where Opress ranks in the overall scheme of things on CV.
Kit Fisto and Plo Koon vs Maul and Savage is extremely close IMO. That would make for a fun CAV.
:P
Could go either way. Kit is the superior duelist and is faster, whereas Savage is stronger both physically and in the Force.
@dccomicsrule2011: Savage wins, he's just a bit above Kit's paygrade.
Lol.. me a year ago.
Kit's outclassed, IMO. If it was just sabers, I would honestly support him for the majority, but he has no business confronting somebody who is so much more powerful than he is in the Force.
Savage Oppress is an abhorrent duelist. Dissecting his victories deeds some real perspective pertaining to swordplay.
Fisto dances around this waste of raw potential.
We've seen what happens when Savage's is strength is deflected, rather than met head on.

Too bad he's not going to use any of that power to secure a meaningful victory against Kit.
Just as Ventress was same against most of the Jedi knights because of her Makashi style ? It's unfair to complain about it when you're using a ultimate dueling form for taking advantage against the others.
You're grasping at straws here really, Plo had the advantage there due to possessing a group of clone troopers to help, Vader always took help from clone troopers / storm troopers to hunt down the Jedi, and Plo failed to use this advantage and Savage killed his men in front of him, then Plo didn't gain any advantage against Savage either, they were going as equals, not like Savage had to rip off Plo's mask in order to save his own ass, Savage just beat him fair and square, Plo had to protect his own mask in the first place.
She was still good enough to be a match for General Grievous, and a well known Jedi Master in the order.
Dooku purposely avoided from Savage's numerous strikes in that fight, and when Savage drives him into the corner, he disarmed Dooku. It wasn't a lucky strike.
I'll argue for Fisto, even though atm I think Savage has a solid 7/10 win.
Fisto has a pretty solid speed advantage, which can arguably benefit him both offensively AND defensively.
Kit Fisto's mastery of Shii-Cho could pose a problem for Savage, as the lightsaber form excels in disarming one's opponent. Savage's use of a saberstaff (with an even further extended hilt length) only further makes this a likely occurrence.
The unpredictable nature of Kit Fisto's attack could put some serious pressure on Savage. Savage's Juyo already leaves a lot to be desired in the defensive category.
That's all I got right now lol

Ventress - He's the physical culmination to oppose her weaknesses. An unlucky match up
Ventress is Fisto's equal in strength, tho. So if he can overwhelm her, he can overwhelm Fisto. I don't know why you discount that victory for Savage because it was via strength. His overwhelming strength is something he carries into all of his duels, and if you cannot counter it(which Fisto cannot) you lose.
Plo Koon - Availed desperation stratagems upon realizing the superior swordsman was his adversary
To put it bluntly: if Plo was the superior swordsman, he should not have allowed Savage to break his guard and tear off his mask. Especially when Plo had a group of elite Clone Troopers to help him.
Adi Gala - Weaksauce
A respected Jedi Master, hailed by Obi-Wan, Mace Windu and various sources as one of the most skilled of the order, who posed GG a threat(albeit a brief one) is far from weak.
Dooku - Would stomp the nightbrother betwixt conventional circumstances. Securing a lucky strike while Dooku concentrated his efforts on Ventress is not helping him here
Eh, I can somewhat agree with this. But even Dooku was frightful of Savage, knowing his potential.
