She's a practicionor of Soresu, and should be able to hold off Fisto until she uses Her sorcery

Kit is a practioneer of Shii-Cho.

From what I know on Zannah, all her sorcery can do is launch sith lightning..Which can easily be dodged.

@MasterJohn: I know. Fisto is a guy, i was talking about Zannah.

SHe can make Dark Side Tendrils that can take off arms. Or she could use Essence Transfer, or some other stuff.

Zannah is not to be underestimated. Her dueling skills are formidable enough to challenge Darth Bane, but as already acknowledged, her Sith Sorcery is second to none.

Not only has Zannah never used Sith Lightning before, she also can do much more with her Sith Sorcery.

Zannah shook her elbow free of Cyndra's grasp and raised her shackled hands before her face. Weaving her ringers in a complex pattern in the air, she reached out with the Force and plunged deep inside the Chiss woman's mind to find her secret, most primal fears. Buried in her subconscious were nameless horrors: abominations and creatures of nightmare never meant to see the light of day. Drawing on the power of Sith sorcery, Zannah plucked them out and brought them to life one by one.

The entire process took less than a second. In that time Cyndra had drawn her weapon, but instead of pointing it at Zannah she suddenly screamed and aimed it high in the air above her, firing wildly at demons conjured from her own mind that only she could see.

The illusions grew more real and more terrifying the longer the spell continued, but Zannah had no intention of ending it yet. The Chiss shrieked and threw her weapon to the ground. She flung her head wildly from side to side, covering it with her arms and screaming "No!" over and over before collapsing on the floor. Weeping and sobbing, she curled into a tight little ball, still muttering "No, no, no...."

Everybody else in the room was staring at her in horror and bewilderment. Some of the guards took a step back, afraid they might somehow become infected by her madness.

Zannah could have ended it then, dispelling the illusion and allowing Cyndra to fall into unconsciousness. She would wake hours later with only the most basic recollection of what had happened, her mind instinctively recoiling from the memories of what it had witnessed. Or Zannah could push the illusion even farther, driving her victim to the edge of insanity and beyond. An image of the Chiss romantically entangled with Kel sprang unbidden to her mind - and Zannah pushed.

Cyndra's cries of terror became animal howls as her sanity was ripped apart by the ghastly visions. Her hands scratched and clawed at her own eyes, tearing them out. Blood poured down her cheeks, but even blindness couldn't save her from the nightmares crawling through what was left of her mind.

Her howls stopped as her body went into seizure; her mouth foamed as her limbs convulsed wildly on the floor. Then, with a final, bloodcurdling shriek, she fell limp and lay still. Her conscious mind completely and irrevocably obliterated, her catatonic body was now nothing more than an empty shell.

And he never sensed the apprentice and her unconscious master, masked by Sith sorcery, hiding silently in the cellar just below his feet.

-- Taken from Darth Bane: Rule of Two

Ten years later, the sorcery still had some of it's effects, overwhelming the Huntress when she peered into the past of Ambria:

It had been Sith sorcery, Sith magic. A spell of concealment had hidden the Sith Lord and the young woman from the Jedi who had discovered the healer's body. The memories still carried the echo of the spell upon them; even after a decade it had been potent enough to momentarily overwhelm her.

-- Taken from Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil

Of course, there's still more:

Zannah's assault began as a sharp pain in his skull, like a hot knife stabbing directly into his brain before carving down to slice the two hemispheres in half. Then the knife exploded, sending a million burning shards in every direction. Each one burrowed into his subconscious, seeking out buried fears and nightmares only to rip them free and haul them to the surface.

Bane let out a scream and dropped to his knees, When he stood up the sky was thick with a swarm of flying horrors. Their wings were torn and ragged, leather flaps of skin hanging from exposed bone. Their bodies small and malformed, their twisted legs ending in long, sharp talons. Their flesh was a sickly yellow: the same color as the faces of the miners who had died on Apatros after being trapped in a gas-filled chamber.

Their features were inhuman, but their burning eyes were unmistakable: each creature was staring at him with the hate-filled gaze of his abusive father. As one, they swooped down on him, their mouths screeching out a cry that sounded like his father's name: hurst!, hurst!, hurst!

-- Taken from Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil

Again she opened herself up to the dark side. This time, however she didn't attack Bane directly. Instead, she let it flow through her, drawing it from the soil and stone of Ambria itself. She called to power buried for centuries, summoning it up to the surface in wispy tendrils of dark smoke snaking up from the sand.

The thin tendrils crawled along the ground, reaching for one another, twining themselves together into writhing tentacles each several meters long.

Then, in response to her unspoken command, the tentacles rose up and lashed out at her foe.

And more.

What? They are second to Darth Sidious, and arguably Naga Sadow (though that's very, very arguable).

.... Zannah doesn't use lightning...

She is a user of Sith Sorcery, capable of ripping apart her victim's mind and plaguing them with illusions (it worked on Darth Bane. He only broke out because he had prep). She has also summoned dark tendrils from the ground to kill her victims.

She should win.

And why do you make threads involving characters you know nothing about? Is this some quest to beat Sith characters you dislike? Yes, I realize you claimed you liked Zannah (or "kinda" liked her compared to other Sith), but evidence proves otherwise - especially since, as I just mentioned, you don't appear to know anything about the character.

Sadow can't do a whole lot without his ship and tech. Honestly, the guy is quite overrated. I place Zannah above him.

Zannah does not know Essence Transfer, as far as we know. But she did resist Essence Transfer, which is a good feat.

#12 Posted by ShootingNova (9435 posts) - 6 months, 5 days ago - Show Bio

@JediXMan: Partially (mostly) resisted it. Bane still imprinted some of his consciousness in her, though nothing too significant.

Also, for the Sadow stuff, I actually think Zannah is superior, but mutating an entire species is very, very very, arguably superior to anything Zannah's shown, but personally, I think Zannah being able to cloak herself with sorcery to the point of repulsing Cognus's mind when she peered into Ambria's history ten years later is better. It's possible she had Ambria help her, but still.

#13 Posted by MasterJohn (2472 posts) - 6 months, 5 days ago - Show Bio

That "quest" stopped a month ago after I finished with the Palpatine stuff.

It's not that I know nothing about her, it's that on a list of sith she was ranked number 10th. I looked for her on threads around comicvine, heard some arguments for her and some feats for her, so I thought this would be a good fight.

@JediXMan: She doesn't? hmm, my bad

#15 Posted by JediXMan (22917 posts) - 6 months, 5 days ago - Show Bio

@ShootingNova:

I don't recall whether the twitch lasted. That could have been more of a mental scarring, but I think Bane's consciousness is completely gone. It just... left its mark.

I don't recall whether Sadow had the help of any of his enhancing gear. I still have to re-read TotJ.

#16 Posted by ShootingNova (9435 posts) - 6 months, 4 days ago - Show Bio

@JediXMan: We don't know if it lasted, truth be told. It might have faded away, depending on Zannah's willpower, but it's also possible that that itself hinders Zannah's said willpower.

Maybe. I still don't think it was a sign of Bane's lingering consciousness, though. Just the impact the event had on her.

Plus, for her to be recognized the way she was by the likes of Plagueis, I'd say she may have grown after Ambria.

#18 Posted by ShootingNova (9435 posts) - 6 months, 4 days ago - Show Bio

@JediXMan: I wonder if her sorcery could rid herself of that.... I really want more books on the Banite Sith. Cognus, Gravid, Gean, Vectivus, Zannah, Tenebrous, and Plagueis in particular.

I don't know if Tenebrous would be a good choice. Wouldn't mind a Zannah / Cognus book similar to the Bane / Zannah books (just a single novel, though). Maybe a short story involving Cognus' failure with Darth Millennial (because I don't feel like that deserves a full novel).

#20 Posted by ShootingNova (9435 posts) - 6 months, 4 days ago - Show Bio

@JediXMan: Yeah, and some explanation on Cognus's new apprentice.

#21 Posted by JamesKM716 (1885 posts) - 6 months, 4 days ago - Show Bio

@ShootingNova: I feel like they could do an entire novel on Zannah's reign as Dark Lord of the Sith, then one on Cognus, including Millenial and the new apprentice, then one on the next ect until we reach Tenebrous.

So, in saber combat who'd win?

#23 Posted by ShootingNova (9435 posts) - 6 months, 4 days ago - Show Bio

@JamesKM716: Hundreds of novels........ is not.......... will not....... even......... make it out before we all die!

#24 Posted by JamesKM716 (1885 posts) - 6 months, 4 days ago - Show Bio

@ShootingNova: But it'd be cool though! Honestly there probably isn't enough story for them all. I mean seriously there have got to be more Sith liek Vectivus who kinda do there role but not much of anything else.

#25 Posted by ShootingNova (9435 posts) - 6 months, 4 days ago - Show Bio

@JamesKM716: LOL. There would have to be dozens of authors for that, and seriously, I actually wish that wouldn't happen. The Sith Lords listed above, and then perhaps slightly more, at best. LOL.

Who wins in a saber fight?

#27 Posted by ShootingNova (9435 posts) - 6 months, 4 days ago - Show Bio

@MasterJohn: Is this a pure saber match?

Fisto's mastery of Shii-Cho is trained against multiple blades (hence multiple people). But Zannah wielding two blades is also an advantage for Kit, and he could perhaps exploit it to the point of faring as well as he did against Grievous. Zannah's mastery of Soresu would afford her the necessary defences, although she still might be overwhelmed. Going purely by feats, Fisto wins for sure.

I wish there was a respect thread for fisto..

Appearently, his poorly trained in the force.

@ShootingNova: In a strictly saber battle, Zannah would probably lose i think. She doesn't have particular skill with it. (couldn't defeat Bane in straight dueling), so i see no reason why she could defeat Fisto.

#34 Posted by ShootingNova (9435 posts) - 6 months, 3 days ago - Show Bio

@JamesKM716: Because her form is meant to be defensive. Soresu is not meant for pure aggression. It's meant to stall and delay until your opponent makes a fatal mistake, which is when you let out with a counterattack which ends the duel. Bane never made any said mistakes, hence why Zannah wasn't really winning. It was also because her attention was diverted to gathering her power for sorcery and she tripped over the graves as a response. She can't win against Fisto, I was saying Fisto definitely wins in a saber battle.
