This basically happened in canon already. Ventress wins. Makashi is a direct edge over Shii-Cho.

This already happened in the The Cestus Deception, Ventress won. Also, as Nova mentioned: Makashi counteracts Shii-cho

Asajj due the counter. If we would replace his Shii-Cho with some other style, it might end in stalemate or win for Fisto.

@penderor: So having Fisto fight with a combat style that is unfamiliar to him, and that he is not skilled/proficient in, will help him beat Ventress( whom is still allowed her mastered fighting form) ?

Asajj, she was pretty good in Lightsaber dueling.

@shootingnova: what if you were to compare them not in a vs match but look at their capabilities. Is ventress better in both lightsaber skill and the force? And what about speed, strength etc if ever they play a significant enough role. Or is he better but just loses due to style? Just curious :)

@martinceld: I would say Kit is only slightly less skilled than Ventress as a fighter overall. Probably isn't much of a strength difference, and Fisto is faster. The main reason he loses is a style disadvantage.

Yes to both. Ventress is more skilful, not by much, but she is more skilful. She has fought evenly with Obi-Wan before, even traded a few select wins and losses. She's fought almost evenly with Anakin on several different occasions as well, despite Anakin's strength edge, and she has also given Mace considerable trouble in their duel.

Strength is even, but Kit is definitely faster. Still, the main reason why he lost was because Makashi is basically a direct counter to Shii-Cho.

The fought once already in The Cestus Deception, Asajj won. She'll win again.
