Godzilla, ftw. Godzilla's got more feats. He collapsed a miniature black hole with his atomic breath alone, and regularly spars/fights monsters his height.
King Kong lost to a few WWI era planes. Godzilla destroys future laser beam armies. Godzilla's also significantly larger. The King Kong vs Godzilla movie actually created a bigger version of KK for the movie. They're really not close in size.

Godzilla took out Space Godzilla which would mop the floor with King Kong. King Kong in the first movie was taken down by bullets... Godzilla was hit with nuclear bombs and reacted like nothing ever touched him.

Godzilla could kill Kong accidentally by stepping on him.

@blueduck: Atomic beam obliterates him, and he still can't harm Godzilla, his skin is too tough. Regardless of size King Kong is simply a gorilla.
Yeah the beam is the only thing Godzilla really has here however Kong is way faster since like you said he's a gorilla. If Godzilla can't hit him with the beam Kong will get on him and snap his neck.

Godzilla really doesn't have any raw strength capabilities that I recall. He's got super small arms which means he has no arm strength and hes also got super short stubby legs and he never moves very fast. Godzilla has his beam but other than that I can't see why he couldn't just be picked up thrown away. A kong of that size would be way stronger physically than Godzilla imo.

I've seen all the Godzilla movies and there is no monster he fights that is anything like Kong besides the time he fought Kong, and lost. Again a Kong of that size would hit much much harder than some tank. I'm just on Kongs side because I don't think this would be one sided at all like most people. I believe this would be the hardest monster Godzilla would ever have to fight win or lose.
@blueduck: King Cesar is pretty much exactly like Kong, only more than likely faster and more intelligent. Godzilla is enhanced with Radiation, King Kong is just a freak of evolution. A gorilla made the size of Godzilla wouldn't have the same properties as a creature being mutated by radiation. Godzilla's skin can withstand shots from tanks, airbombings, and deflect bladed weapons and chainsaws of equivalent size. A normal gorilla that is just big can't bring anything to the fight.
Which Godzilla are we using here? Because if it's 2000 than King Kong lose real bad. But if it the one from the 50's 60's 70's 80' and earlier 90's than he has a chance. Because that Godzilla can be hurt and bleed.

Godzilla is alot stronger than King Kong, Plus Godzilla has that fire breath he can burn King Kong with.
Godzilla took out Hedorah which is twice the siz of GZ.
Godzilla wins with his fire breath. The only way King Kong could even win is via KO by sneaking up on Godzilla while carrying a 100+ ton mountain and slamming it on Godzilla's head.
Using the most recent versions of each monster, Peter Jackson's King Kong and Godzilla from Godzilla: Final Wars, this is completely in Godzilla'a favor. Godzilla is, more or less, virtually invincible. Notice I say virtually, he can be killed, but Kong can't do anything to him that will even hurt him. The monsters Godzilla regularly fights are far stronger than Kong. Godzilla bbqs him.
Actually that was Frankenstein monster. In the movie, it was suppose to be Frankenstein's monster fighting Godzilla, that is why the lightning made Kong Stronger. They switch out the characters for popularity reasons, but kept the main script. Without lightning, early in the movie, Godzilla decimated Kong easy in their first fight, and Kong barely match from lightning amps second match.
