Close fight, Indominus takes at least 6/10.
The reason Kong doesn't win is because though He mad the t-rex like dinos in King Kong look like fodder, they're still only comparable to a Jurassic Park T-Rex. IDR can take out a JP Rex, so giving Kong's fodder Rex's an extra boost each, turning them into IDR's, SHOULD give them the win.
Kong is going out fighting though. His arms and maneuvering will come into play heavily.
They should have enough to pull out a win....
But its still three zoo animals versus wild morals off Kong.
So by putting 3 I'm guessing the general consensus is that King Kong can beat 1 I-Rex? Not something I agree with.
I-Rex's stomp.

I-Rex's stomp.
How does 1 beat Kong? Kong stomped an enhanced T-Rex (called the V-Rex) and also took on 3 V-Rexes at the same time. The Indominus struggled with 1 T-rex (not saying this definitively means that Kong would win but it's just something to take note of even though it's ABC logic). Kong should be able to tank/avoid the I-Rexes claws long enough to snap it's neck/jaw and kill it just like Kong did to the V rexes.

Hmm, actually now that I think about it the battle is closer than I thought with just 1, there are a lot of other factors that go into it and maybe the I rex can avoid being put down by using his claws (Kong only had the V-Rex's bites to deal with so it will be harder for kong to put the I rex down because of the constant threat of Claws).
Bout to go rewatch both movies to further see how this fight would go down, I Rex's claws, durability and intelligence will make it a tough one for Kong (all though i'm not sure that Indominus even used it's intelligence in battle).
Kong would have difficulty with 1 I-Rex let alone 3. I-Rex's stomp.
Kong gets murked
The Indominous Rex hype is a bunch of nonsense. The only reason she technically won that fight was between it and the T-rex is because she was able to use her push the T-rex's massive head out of the way.
Evidence in listed here
So the only reason the I-rex truly beat the T-rex was because of a reach advantage ,not even because of it's BS feats like beating the ankylosaur ( which it only did by flipping it on it's side leaving it defenseless) and tanking it's blows to the body (it took one blow).
How would it's reach advantage help it against an animal that has arms that reach it's feet? It doesn't have that advantage here.
Every Animal on skull island is a super sized version of it's pre-historic counter part.
Look at the size of these raptors, these things were Utah raptor sized.
Same goes for the V-rexes. You essentially have an island with much bigger and tougher animals.
And Kong still beat them while being nerfed.

Even when compared to the Spinosaurus the I-rex still comes up short.
The Spino lacks feats but it still won the fight as soon as it bit the T-rex on the neck and snapped it's neck like a puppy.
Honestly this is a power scaling debate not a feat debate.
Kong > V-rexes > Spino > Indominous > T-rex
These Indominous threads are ridiculous.
Kong would barley beat one. let alone 3
@kaijukinggojira: Great post, i was fully onboard until the power scaling.
KK>IR>VR?S>=TR
IR has far better feats than VR, the only real advantages they have over it is weight and bite radius. Spinosaurus beat a juvenile T-Rex, it isn't comparable to the IR on that alone and by the park's own admission the IR was the most BA thing they ever produced.
IR is definately overhyped, but Kong does lose here. I can't really see him beating two, honestly. I give him one and some fodder.
The thread should probably be "how many raptors can Kong handle while also fighting an Indominus Rex" lol
My boy Kong all day. Snapping there jaws like they're made of crackers.
Mighty Joe Young VERSUS King Kong.

Even with it's feats it was still outclassed to a more experienced T-rex and it only won the fight because of it's reach advantage and arm strength it's not like it was completely dominating. Lets be Honest here a raptor should not have equalized that fight/ given the T-rex useful help.
The Indominus was defiantly not that good of a fighter considering it was pretty much getting beat up by a senior citizen. I genuinely feel like a younger bigger version of the T-rex would have stomped the I-rex based on the fight.
It's inexperience would be fatal to it's survival against an animal like Kong.
Though it isn't fully grown. It's adult stage is debatable.
The King Kong wanking, I just can't believe it or the arguments of out of context fight I Rex had with T Rex.
Pathetic. Spite match is still Spite match. I Rexes have a easy meal.
1. In the I-Rex's defense, it did have mobility on the TR on top of reach. At its age the TR presumably had full strength, being fully grown, but lacked mobility. TRs generally arn't very agile in the first place, so it's not really so much of a loss.
2. The I-Rex was also able to tear through an entire herd of Little Foot moms before they could even flee the field they were in, something a single Rex cannot replicate. It fought a larger, stronger Rex and clearly had the advantage without distractions. This is, again, after being set on fire by a rocket, being shot with live ammo, and literally committing genocide all day while under the cummulative stress of being in a foreign enviroment for the first time in its life. No TR can replicate that, ever.
3. Kong does have a massive experience advantage, I completely agree he can curb a single IR. He's probably not taking two because these things can communicate and cooperate efficiently, something Kong has no experience fighting. VR was comparatively brutish and simple, even compared to a TR.
4. If that's it's adult form, it looks dumb. Which is understandable, because its juvenile form looks dumb too.

Wanking? Are you kidding me? Kong stomped 3 V-rexes while being nerfed and the Indominous only beat an inferior creature due to it's reach advantage, which they wouldn't have against Kong. How does the context of the fight not come into question?
If anything they take it handily.
@thelocust619: No arguements here.
This should have been it's design.
But we can't have everything we want.
one irex is all that's needed
If King Kong has no arms, no legs, has no eyes, no teeth and isn't present to fight him then yes Indominus Wins.
The Indominus Rex has 2 long arms to grab King kong. Which gives Indominus Rex a stronger bite since he can get a hold of kong then bite down... So 3 of those vs. King Kong? Kong dies or he wins by a hair.
Oh yeah don't forget that i-Rex can go invisible so... Nighty night
@kaijukinggojira: I have to say, you presented one of the faultiest arguments I've ever read on the vine.
@keenko: And I have to say you have presented no reasoning for your claim making your argument just some useless and rather petty insult. I know your going to fire back at me but for future reference state your opinions with reasons behind them, otherwise they just seem like childish ways to pick an opinion you don't agree with yet don't understand. We are debaters first here.

Not invisible, camouflage which I don't think helps in a face-to-face fight

Holy crap that picture was scary somehow
@bl_forever: Any time I see Nick Cage I can't help but hear the Nostalgia Critic's intro during Nicolas Cage Month. (Derp voice) "Niiii-col-as Cage..."
On a other note, there is so much wrong with that one guys post it's not even worth correcting. For example, you'd probably have to start by explaining how long arms don't give you a stronger bite lmao by that logic, Kong is the hardest biter here...
Whatever, both of these creatures are made up so it could go either way. just like I said in another post 1v1 its like a match up from the video game Primal Rage . King Kong is like the Hulk and well why not think up or make up a Dragon/Utahraptor hybrid or whatever. Or lets give the I-Rex way bigger arms and a huge sickle claw to rip Kongs belly open. Bottom line is Trex existed and Kong didn't . Directors for the original Kong movie just wanted something for Kong to beat up on to make him look badass! IMO
Oh and those V rexes were a fu&kin joke! not bashing the Animators or VFX team on that movie at all, visuals and all were amazing but the way whomever portrayed a bigger stronger T Rex was real bad.
