@monsterstomp: Referencing IMDB which is barely a popularity contest at best is not helping your case. The chemistry between Ann and Kong is perhaps the only thing going on for King Kong and that is mostly because Naomi Watts and Andy Serkis are great performers.

Everyone seems to think Jackson is a great director just because The Lord of the Rings trilogy didn't turned out so bad. But even that missed the entire point of the book trilogy, the guy ommited the third book's real finale for God's sake, the part that gave sense to the whole thing.

There actuly is a possibility of king kong winning, a gorilla is one of the most powerfull animals on the planet, they can easily rip out trees, now godzilla is 50 times the size of the average gorrila whic means hes 50 tims stronger. No i lnow godzilla is much bigger but a gorilla king kongs size would be powerful enough to pick up buildings and toss them, so if king kong climbs godzilla, he is strong enough that he could possibly snap his neck.

This is good. These monster films are both remakes. On that note, I have to include old and new films. Normally I would say Godzilla would beat King Kong, but in the original battle, Kong received more power from Lightening & electricity that could even revive Kong. I'n the classic movie, Kong was loosing at 1st, but In the end, King Kong defeated Godzilla to almost death.

Godzilla's body genetically has energy in it, He is a little taller, durable, and a great hunter. Godzilla tends to fight energy firing creatures, defeated Aliens, mechanical monsters, and etc. Electiricity is slows him down.

However, King Kong is faster, he can take a beating, has better hand grip and better arm strength, he is very experienced in killing Super Giant Squids & Super Giant reptiles (giant snake Python and T-Rexes in the King King films in 70's & 30's & 2005), He has probably fought other creatures in order for him to live so long, and King Kong probably more intelligent as an ape.

Let's see what Hollywood will do if they remade it.
