Boxer stomps hard.
It's not even close.
A trained Boxer will go straight for the chin and transfer all his weight into a punch.
@legacy6364: @frozen: Kick-Ass' dead nerves and metal plates make him nearly impossible to KO. He fought off 3 guys who were all 3 times his size before he was even trained. He has kept up fighting them even when his eyes were swollen shut, his ribs were cracked, and his teeth were smashed.
He stomped the sh!t outta Red Mist even after with standing torture from New Yorks worsted "torturer". He got his balls electrocutic so much that lightning was coming out his eyes. And after that he was beaten so hard the chair he was sitting on collapsed underneath him.

A Boxer would not go for the metal plates / body. He would go straight for the head and in blindingly fast motion. I have Boxed myself, on and off for a decade --- those who are non-trained face a much higher risk of getting knocked out because they will not anticipate a punch coming or in which direction it comes in. Boxers do not telegraph their punches and it is rigorously re-enforced. There are real life accounts of Boxers quickly knocking out multiple men.
It is not about how much punishment you can dish out, it is about tagging the person in a sensitive area as fast as possible, while transferring weight without the person anticipating it. Common place and quite easy to do --- a striker's technique will dramatically differ to that of a normal guy.
@frozen: Kick-Ass' nerves are dead. He doesn't have typical "sensitive areas". I already said he has above average durability. That boxer is fighting street thugs. Kick-Ass has shrugged off way worse attacks (while weakened by torture) by much bigger and more dangerous mobsters.
Red Mist even said his father (the head of the biggest NYC mob) Johnny G, was impressed at how hard it was to KO him. Chris even said his father thought KA must have been a boxer.
@allstarsuperman: His nerve endings give him a much higher threshold for pain. That is not really the point in striking --- the primarily goal in striking is to hit someone with an attack they do not see coming. Your body is much less likely to not get knocked out or adequately respond to someone if you hit them with something they have no idea is coming. Any Boxer, no matter their iron jaw can get knocked out by something they do not see coming. That is why real life Boxers are successful in knocking out much, much larger men in street-fights.
If however, they used telegraphed punches then sure, Kick Ass would soak a lot of it up. But an advanced striker can use feints to make his job easier.
At what point of the film was that stated?
@frozen: I was debating for comic version.

Well I was referring to the Movie version as that is what the OP said.
I might give this to the boxer, Kickass in the movie seemed to be very dependent on weapons, pain tolerance, and luck against his opponents, and even then he still got really messed up on multiple occasions. This boxer had great movement and was knocking down his opponents in only one or 2 strikes with no serious trouble. All of this was done with no weapons or armor.
