@Pistolwhip1

Another HUGE Miss Match.

Khorn can never physicly come into a Universe but can send his Greatest Avatars the Blood Thirster or his Greatest Deamon Princes Angron and Doom Breed to smack the hell out of Ares..... Easy.

His favoured Hell Hound will kill Ares. A beast that can traverse Time and Space and Dimensions while summoning a army size Pack.
Khorn Covers a entire World in burning Blood in a hissy fit.
Korn power is so great he casually throws tournaments for a single lowly deamon to wield a Hell blade that cuts thru Matter and Time!

Just a few Examples of Khorns power. The biggest threat would be the Collars of Khorn!

Also khorn is can and has bestowed Immunities to Magic and Psychics on his Followers many times. Blessings of the Blood God and Collars of Khorn for Example.

Then we get into the fact that War itself FEEDS Khorn more power period.

Finely his Blood Thirsters in the droves will finish this. Each one by itself is a planet wrecker.

Khorn so wins its not even funny.

The very act of challenging Khorne to physical battle empowers him, and Khorne is already all powerful in his domain and at hell lord levels at least out of it. Ares is near skyfather level without amps and only knows how to fight physically, where Khorne will school him.

Pretty much. Fighting Khorne is like trying to drown a fish in water.

Any of the 4 Powers of Chaos would win in this case, IMO. The only one who was able to oppose them, was the God Emperor of Mankind.

Might actually wind up as a stalemate.
DC's Ares is more powerful then Marvel Ares, he's actually a Skyfather.
Being the god of war, conflict, and death (Due to killing, and usurping Hades throne) he is powered by war, and fighting. So he too would be amped if if Khorne was to engage him in a battle.
He also can't be harmed by normal weapons, only enchanted. He is also known to be a reality warper.

Khorn himself cannot be engage in combat except in the Warp where he is Omnipotent as Shuman Gorath is in his Dimension.

Also you say Ares is a Sky Father. But can he Rend Reailty? Traverse Space and Time? Destroys Worlds with a single Sword Swing? Spawn a Endless Army of Lesser Daemons and Blood Thirsters (some BTs are World Crushers themselves)? Can his Magic affect a Being who Specifically makes gear and bestows Blessings that allow Immunity from Magic and Psykers? Could he defeat a Dormammu level being in his own realm?

Thats really what Khorn is at the end of the day. He is also a Multiversal Being.

Suppose the only chance he would have is if he possessed the godwave in this fight.

From what I heard it's wave that passed through the universe (Possibly multiverse). The first wave created the old gods (Olympians, Norse, etc) second wave creted the New Gods ( Darkseid, High Father, etc) the third wave created superheroes, and villains. (Allowed humans to gain superpowers.)

Depends on if the fight takes place in the 40k warp or not.

Ares would be pretty mean to him if it didn't.
