Captain Marvel doesn't have enough feats to contend with Kal for long periods of time. Unless Post-Insane Captain is allowed, in which case i would make a case for him.

And if he is, I seriously need people to stop putting him in battles, because all we can do regarding his combat ability is guess. Literally the answer all the time should be I don't know.

Which basically still means any new abilities are completely unproven and it's pure conjecture to say he has anything new. Kal Kent almost appears to be the stronger one.

I haven't read Cap Vol 4 in a while, so i made several mistakes when we debated Legion vs Genis.

If this is insane Genis, this is a mismatch.

Genis BFRs him. Also Kal's attacks are mostly energy based so he could nullify or mitigate them.
