Justice League

VS

Batman and Cyborg have an hour prep.

Worthy have virtually no feats, but assuming this is New-52 then it could either way.

#3 Posted by venomoushatred1001 (12334 posts) - - Show Bio

The Worthy can beat this JL.

@venomoushatred1001: I haven't been keeping up - is New 52 that much of a nerf?

#5 Posted by AngryHulks (2994 posts) - - Show Bio

@SuperStarKirby: Superman got injured (though it's not detrimental) by a train....

#6 Posted by Jorgevy (5114 posts) - - Show Bio

@AngryHulks: 5 years ago when he started out. He's stronger now. Also it was a bullet train... so there's that and he wasn't exactly injured, just Knocked Out.

Thor destroyed Two Worthy (Thing and Hulk) just by slugging it out, I say the league can take this

@AngryHulks: that wasn't justice league superman..that was smallville pre puberty i dont kno how my powers work superman.

#8 Posted by emmbro30 (249 posts) - - Show Bio

I think it may be a close fight relyng mostly on Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern.

#9 Posted by whydama (1093 posts) - - Show Bio

The Worthy will' win. The justice league do not have anything against Kuurth

Are you talking about the bullet train? That is from 5 years in Superman's past though, when he was barely out of college so I hardly think that counts. Especially when Lex even at that point said Superman's power was growing at an extremely fast rate.

Yeah, I knew his power grew. I don't know how strong he is now, but apparently he is not as invulnerable as Pre-Flashpoint Superman.

I don't know how JLA will fares against Kuurth, who is immune to telepathy and is resistant to magic. BFR might be the only option against Kuurth, but they can dispatch the other Worthy pretty easily though.

#12 Posted by ChaosBlazer (3930 posts) - - Show Bio

The Worthy aren't that powerful, only Kuurth is powerful enough to cause a problem for the JLA, and he's not enough to give the Worthy the win

JLA wins

#13 Posted by thanosii (1187 posts) - - Show Bio

kuurth solos

#14 Posted by dondave (33381 posts) - - Show Bio

Justice League could eventually win; the only major obstacle is Kuurth

Online
#15 Posted by thanosii (1187 posts) - - Show Bio

how would they win? against kuurth he was unstoppable could fly had lightning and HE IS KUURTH

#16 Posted by SUNMAN (7139 posts) - - Show Bio

Justice League win, better team work. All the members can hold their own in different ways except BAtman who will just run around yelling out orders while trying not to die.

The magic may effect Superman, to what degree seems to vary by the different writers.

#17 Posted by cennobite (365 posts) - - Show Bio

The Justice League would have trouble with Kuurth & Nul, maybe Mokk with the stone power or maybe Greithoth could get some Kryptonite use against Superman so you would have that & magic against him, the big trouble would be when the Serpent arrives, since it's all prophecy & stuff with no Thor since this would be well in my head in the DC Universe there might not be a way to stop him. Another thing I wonder who of the DC Universe would the hammers have picked given the opportunity.

#18 Posted by SHAZAM117 (2480 posts) - - Show Bio

The Worthy would win. Been a while since I read Fear Itself, Juggs/Kuurth IIRC could not be BFR'd. The Worthy eventaully wear down the League.

#19 Posted by SPM1M (782 posts) - - Show Bio

Stalemate, the JL could beat the rest of the worthy eventually but Kuurth is completely unstoppable, even so how is kuurth gonna lay a hand on the speedsters like kal and barry. they see non of theyre attacks work and this goes down to they cant hurt kuurth but kuurth cant touch them either

#20 Posted by Moonman78 (1726 posts) - - Show Bio

The regular everyday JLA vs the magically upgraded version of all these guys, come on? First of all now batman and cyborg are fodder, and flash is gonna be fodder when he eventually gets hit. Then who's left Superman, Wonderwoman and GL. Aquaman won't last that long either so you will end up with three JLA member to deal with highly magically enhanced versions of each character, please. Nul could solo, Kuruth could solo and Greithoth: Breaker of Wills could probably solo. And being there new 52 versions the jla wont have a shot here period.

#21 Posted by MarlboroMan (1529 posts) - - Show Bio

The Worthy stomps this you guys really need to check the tie-ins of Fear Itself if you think JL has any chance.

Kuurth ftw.

#23 Posted by Dark Cloud™ (2174 posts) - - Show Bio

The Worthy should take the victory after a decent but inevitably disadvantageous attempt by the JLA.

The Worthy.

I will say this Kuurth is the only durable obstacle . Now Wonder woman and aquaman has very powerful weapons magical in nature i am sure the could find away . Not to mention barry with his intangibilty . The worthy is worthy for their defeat here . its a good match up tho .

Less speculation - more on details how they get past Kuurth. Lets not even get into how one handles the guy who turns you into stone on eye-contact - without that detail someone on the league is turning to stone(one potential characters immune to this effect might be WW, GL and Cyborg).

#27 Posted by HellionVulcan (3604 posts) - - Show Bio

Kuurth pretty much wins it for his team .

Worthy. Though the fight should be glorious...and bloody.

#34 Posted by ForeverEvil (4788 posts) - - Show Bio

what can the worthy do?

#35 Posted by Carter_esque (6447 posts) - - Show Bio

Nul solos.

#36 Edited by ComicStooge (11812 posts) - - Show Bio

Cyborg can BFR everyone but Kuurth.

That said, I don't see how they beat Kuurth.

#37 Posted by thanosii (1187 posts) - - Show Bio

@foreverevil: all the powers of the worthy we're increased greatly,

Creel can absorb all or any energy which makes GL, Supes and Flash useless if they go up against him,

Kuurth was jugs who could fly, teleport, energy absorption and electric blasts. He was like a Juggs with Surfers powers, he alone can solo

Nul was hulk on world breaker levels. The JLA featured here simply doesn't have the offensive ability to stop these guys, JSA may fair better due to Dr Fate and Alan
