Good match, could go either way with the inclusion of Quicksilver and Gladiator, and for once, No Flash solos arguments can be made.

If Gladiator and Nova are included with the Avengers, Avengers stomp, particularly if the JLA have no 1) Flash and 2) Martian Manhunter.

This is fairly one sided in favor of the Avengers.

Obviously the fact that the op is hugely slanted in avengers favor, by having a weak jl roster against avengers big guns plus other marvel heavy hitters that arent on the avengers......... But as for who can stalemate hulk..... Not many people anywhere but ww superman green lantern or red tornado either kill or bfr him right off the bat no problem. As for sentry with no void he hasnt shown anything in terms ofmmatter manipulation and his strength feats arent even close to supermans or wonder woman.

Avengers in general - top showings of Sentry are a problem for low showings of post-COIE Superman, but high showings of post-COIE SUperman still win. Top showing of Sentry on the board definitely turns it into a fight

JLA with moderate difficulty.

Justice League

Avengers with ease. Thor can almost solo, scratch that he could, give him Gladiator and Nova and it's a pretty easy win. Even the strongest (regular) JLA would lose IMO, nonetheless one lacking MMH and Captain Marvel.

Thor is too much with FTL combat speeds, planet busting physical strength+Mjolnir and it's many abilities including BFR'ing anyone anywhere, God blast, Planetary lightning storms, I think he's done anti-matter blasts, and of course energy absorption. He alone is taking Supes, while Gladiator and Nova take on Green Lantern and WW.

Gladiator will take Wonder Woman and win because, imo he'd be extremely confident facing a woman and would have no trouble keeping his confidence up, as is natural, when a man faces someone he perceives as weaker. Also he's planet busted and she hasn't.

The combination of Nova and Ironman should be enough for GL and the rest of the league, especially as Gladiator and Thor finish off their guys and join in. Quicksilver also helps with the speedblitz.

Superman vs Thor: thor's favorite attack is throwing his hammer, if thor's hammer is really made from a star like in the comics according to Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse it would weigh approximately 4.5 quadrillion pounds superman has lifted more than that he could easily catch thor's hammer and without it thor doesn't stand a chance.

Captain america vs Batman: Bruce wayne spent almost a decade training, learning many different types of martial arts training with older heroes like wildcat having a genius level intellect also being rich he can afford high tech gadgets and weapons to help him. While even with the supersoldier formula, his millitary training and indestructible sheild bats would crush him.

And with the most powerful and most intellegent heroes in DC still alive Bats would totally come up with a plan to beat the rest of the avengers.

@kool_chris: If your talking about JLA unlimited then captain atom could beat Hulk

since their gamma radiation in the hulks blood captain atom could absorb that radiation taking away his powers. Plus Martain manhunter should be included in the original JLA.

Umm hello Iron Man will make a kryptonite suit with 3 days of prep while Batman will just be batman. After Supes is out of the way Avengers take it. LOL 3 days of prep is no joke to Anthony Stark, no joke at all. Kryptonite suit will be going to work dead ass.

i see gladiator. and i see no one who can react to gladiator at full zpeed (i didnt see a flash in the pic)

I think thor vs supes can go either way (depends which version), .GL beats Nova (energy projection feats) and WW beats gladiator (lasso, sword)

I think the better question is which of the street leveler and mid level guys will win. Because the top tier guys are going to get in a stalemate for a while. I think the avengers will win with the lower level dudes and then they will figure out a way to help their top tier guys.

Using the current version of all the characters represented in the pictures, I'll go with Avengers. New 52 Superman and Wonder Woman are not beating Thor, Gladiator, or Nova. The feats aren't there.

But get real, this thread is about yesteryear, so classic SuperJesus and Wonder Goddess each solo the handpicked Avenger team which leaves off Sentry, Blue Marvel, Hyperion, Captain Universe, and a host of others who would be a better match for the classic DC god-like heroes. Hell, Captain Universe solos any JLA team. That character is broken.
