Nope, try limiting the New 52 team feat to just Animated Movies and it might be a bit fairer.

The only way this would be fair is if you actually let the entire Unlimited roster in.

Otherwise, pretty much any New 52 Leaguer minus maybe Cyborg or Batman solos.

Yh, I thought that was quite silly, to be honest. The likes of Superman, WW and Marvel are getting one shotted, and then you a have Arthur tossing him about.

Usually, I by the whole "vulnerable to magic", but the the way in which Orm effortlessly dispatches all the JL members was little unbelievable. He basically fodderised them. Other than that, I thought it was good movie. Animation was top notch, as always with DC movies.

@gxrevolution96: But vulnerability to magic shouldn't work on WW & Shazam(who got forced to turn back into Billy because magic/plot). The animation were ok but the story was kind of underwhelming.

Of course dcau was my childhood but as a young adult I think new 52 is by far the best justice league that ever formed. Wonder woman's potrayal,superman's strength from original comics,Batman and GL chemistry, The Batman isn't that self obsessed (the scene where he reveals himself and talks to GL before going to rescue superman at apokolips) unlike dcau and has a son!! Good thing Talia grape him. (Though I still like dcau bats more only I hate his future potrayed in b beyond and jlu episode:epilogue )and they also showed the origins of Cyborg!!! In terms of power, new 52 is easily much powerful than dcau. So the winner is........

True. What I did not get is why the Queen left. Was she having some kind of affair? If she was royalty, why was Orm's dad sitting on the throne with the trident? Why did she even marry Orm's dad of she loved Author's dad?

Simple answer; She was a shit parent.

This is such a huge stomp in New 52 favour it's disgusting. Superman could solo, WW could solo, flash could solo and so can GL.

@gxrevolution96: is it the animated DC new 52 universe? If it is then I don't know it's quite hard. But DCAU struggled to carry a truck while New 52 Superman was using a lorry as a baseball bat.

Justice League DCAU in seasons one and two really, really lowballed flash, supes and GL alot. They more or less restricted GL to some guy that was 100% reliant on his constructs and they weren't very durable all the time. Supes got tazered and KOed briefly by a simple device planted by an unknown merc whilst trying to escape him. Flash constantly trips over sh1t. Even MMH never always utilised the full extent of his skillset most of the time. Only Bats was sorta buffed to allow him to keep up with his superhuman teammates.

New 52 team even limited to just War and Throne of Atlantis feats stomp DCAU here.

DCAU Batman one-shots

We are talking about a slugfest and not a comparison of character quality right? If so, then new 52.

New 52 Justice League wins in a stomp. Have you seen the difference in power levels?

DCAU Superman gets stunned by regular electric shocks (while New 52 Superman tanked Batman's electric shocks with negligible damage), DCAU Flash doesn't appear to have fast reflexes and continuously trips over everything, DCAU Martian Manhunter doesn't have any combat telepathic ability whatsoever. The combat skill difference between New 52 Wonder Woman and DCAU version is just sad to see. New 52 Green Lantern also appears to have greater durability (the dude tanked a hit from Darkseid head on) than the DCAU version.

Additionally, not a single DCAU character except Flash uses Super-Speed in combat (looking at you, DCAU Supes).

People are free to like whichever version the prefer, but in a fight, New 52 wins hands down.

Also Throne of Atlantis the animated movie was 100% $hit and has very little in common to the actual comics.

The script is full of holes and illogical things and the characters are nothing like their comic book counterparts. So the simple truth is there is no reasoning for the actions of the characters (like Atlanna's or Orm's with the wave) because the "script" (if you can call it that) writer is clueless and terrible at his job (maybe he is better at the Bizzaro mini he will unfortunately write). It's a bad movie with a ridiculously bad script that $hits on the actual story. That's all the explanation needed.

But Orm's powers are magical.

He can hurt Supes for sure.

And because WW has magical roots, doesn't mean she is invulnerable to all kinds of magic. Some magic can and has hurt her.

Shazam was not in the comics.

Using JL.ToA (the movie, not the comics that are awesome) to accurately judge the JL is like using Son of Batman to accurately judge Deathstroke...
