Lol interesting battle considering I am reading the Grey Knights novel of Justicar Alaric's first novel

oh and Ronan wrecks here pretty handily.

restricted to H2H....hmm.....ronan has superhuman stats for sure, but not sure what Justice Alaric can do, could someone give some info please?

@mrvalance: He has the ability to process a scenario and course of action within a nanosecond, reflexes somewhere around mach 2-3. Not to mention Grey Knights Space Marine armor that can shrug off autocannon fire, enhances his 2-3 ton strength by 20%, not to mention has the endurance to stay awake for 3 weeks straight without over taxing himself. He also has a healing factor that instantly clots and heals cuts or stab wounds significantly faster than a normal human as well as being able to repair broken bones significantly faster than humans.

Ronan wins though based on durability and having a nifty plot device weapon.

I thought ronan was limited to physical fighting only, to my understanding he has the hammer, but none of the nifty tricks,ill look into ronan stats cause this justice guy seems pretty beastly

@eisenfauste: Its been a long time since I read the GK novels. What are Alaric's psyker abilities like? I remember one GK being able to do some pretty nasty crap like burning the soul out of his opponents, moving outside the normal timestream (al la Zoom), psionic mirroring etc.... Can't remember if that was Alaric or someone else.

not sure how to call this as I cant find a definitive source placing ronan's strength/speed/etc, also not sure how interpret "Ronan is limited to physical combat only" as I just learned aside from the universal weapon the armor ronan wears enhances his stats and has nifty tricks of its own, like turned ronan invisible and making things cold enough to put living things in suspended animation....if the armor and its tricks are allowed, and Justice has no answer to it then id say ronan, but again not sure

@strider92: Alaric has not shown any psyker abilities he just has an amazing fortitude, as do all Grey Knights, against Chaos Magic and corruption. The only one who displayeda psychic weapon per say was Tancred and even then he needed the whole squad reciting a prayer to work up the energy and passion needed for the blast of energy that resulted from the prayer. Unless they gave him psychic amps in the Gray Knights Omnibus, don't know if he is even featured in them or not, Alaric has not much to his name besides resolve.

Check this respect thread for Ronan as should anyone else who is curious, it isn't exactly complete but it has some solid stats for Ronan enough to put him above Alaric for a good majority.

Ronan, the universal weapon is extremely powerful; it gives h the edge.
