TMWNN shots first.

These are two of my all time favorite characters.

This is definitely a win for Hex though. He is just better in every conceivable way. He’s faster, tougher, can deflect multiple bullets fired at the same time from only a few feet away with his sword, and has more impressive displays of accuracy. He’s a better tactician too. I can’t envision any scenario where TMWNN would win a majority.

@delta-58: No he doesn’t. Hex is faster on the draw, more accurate, and just a better combatant. Honestly, hex could probably win without guns. He could just draw his sword, slice every bullet TMWNN shoots in half, then stomp him in close quarters. He has the feats to suggest this. I can’t post scans since I’m on my phone, but it’s from Hex run by Palmiotti and Gray, before it became AllStar Western with the New 52 title. Hex sliced several billets in half, that were shot simultaneously from only a few feet away, before killing the shooters in close range after the bullets were taken care of.

And Hex has done everything TMWNN has done. Like quick draw and shoot down several enemies all before they can even draw a gun. But he’s also done superhuman nigh-impossible things like kill an entire squad of soldiers with a single bullet, by ricocheting it off of rocks. It bounces between rocks killing 8 soldiers (IIRC), and the bullet ricochets to hit a boulder overhead that falls and kills the 9th soldier. Also from the Palmiotti and Gray run.

I love both characters, but Hex is just the more impressive gunslinger by a pretty significant margin.

@tparks: TMWNN can still outsmart him and despite Hex’s feats he still doesn’t stand a chance.

@delta-58: But Hex is smarter then MWNN based on what both have shown. He’s an amazing detective, and uses tactics and strategy to win a lot of fights. He’s shown a lot more use of tactics then MWNN has.

There is literally nothing that MWNN has done that Hex hasn’t, where Hex has done a lot that MWNN has never been portrayed as being capable of.

@tparks: That’s funny but TMWNN can dodge bullets as well. While Hex has done amazing things he gets shot quick. Never underestimate the greatness of Clint.

It's good aim dodging, but it's not anything like deflecting 3 bullets shot near-simultaneously with a civil war saber.

@wizardry547: I've read the comics. I even posted two of MWNN's closest to bullet timing feats he has from the comics. Although I wouldn't call them bullet timing, but I'm not calling what Hex did bullet timing either, just amazing speed and aim deflecting. What issue do you think MWNN moved that fast? Show me why you think that.
