Joker or Lex Luthor? WHY?

I know this isnt a battle but still great villains. Yes i know lex luthor is highly intelligent and joker is that crazy bastard who likes to kill.

Joker is more intense.

Joker as a character is much more captivating and intense. Not manypeople can provide such agood match for batman. He's 2nd best comic villain of all time for a reason.

In every other aspect lex completely outclasses joker. Prep, brains, manipulation, you name it. Unless we're talking emperor joker. That joker stomps every canon version of lex combined.

Spider-Man.

Joker is the worst-case scenario villain, he's in your nightmares.

Lex Luthor is just a paranoid genius douchebag, with the money to back up his paranoia.

@kingant27: True, but then your read Brian Azzarello's one joker book, and it make you see what a sick, twisted, SoB that the Joker is.
