1. I think John can win this one, he is a master of psychological manipulation, and never once lost his cool.
2. Anton wins this one, John is not the physical type, he is a mastermind not a hunter.
3. Hummm, not sure on that one. I think I will go with John, planning things out that much seems much more evil.
John stomps Round 1. Anton couldn't even handle the wife not choosing in the movie. Round 2 goes to Anton. He's physically superior and has better showing in terms of fighting. Round 3. At the end of the day Anton is just an assassin with his own set of morals. John is flat out crazy. Basing each of those murders on the 7 deadly sins and somehow having them link together takes nothing short of a mastermind. He had absolutely no remorse what so ever and the end just really seals the deal. I'm sure most saw it coming. I'll give Round 3 to John Doe.
I liked both movies but the end to No Country for Old Men was a bit strange...took me awhile to piece things together.
@darthaznable: You think John will get into Anton's head? Bah, I don't see it happening. Anton would likely just put his fingers through John's eye sockets to get into his head and take the win. Otherwise I'll agree with the rest since Chigurh isn't any more a villain than he is a force of nature, reckoning incarnate.
On a side note...neither of these guys are comic characters.....
@ancient_0f_days: If he upsets him to the point of having to kill him. He had already won. Same with Brad Pitt's character at the end of Se7en.
I didn't make the post but yeah they aren't. Still an interesting battle though.
