Going to say Jobberseid, since despite getting mugged in an alley at one point, it's still not as bad as that thing Thanos is doing in that scan.

Darkseid has more to be ashamed of than Thanos. Like his explicit "I win" button power being deflected by Superman's *heat vision*. Or *falling down stairs*. Or *getting beat up by muggers.* Or *being* in countdown.

In a New Gods arc when they all lost their powers. Still, him not having enough skill to repel common street thugs is just sad.

I for one have no clue why people would compare this with Darkseid losing against Superman in Apokolips Now, which is a perfectly valid story arc.

In that particular comic Darkseid basically orchestrates a porn video of Superman and Barda via mind control and then shows his son the tape.

In your opinion should we accept the actions of characters do you horrible writing or writers?

Frankly, Thanos has always at least been a respected member of Marvels high level baddies, for the last decade Darkseid has been basically Mongul with eye powers (I didnt say the Omega Effect, because his brand of Heat Vision is not the Omega Effect).

It's Thanos being captured by police vs. Darkseid working at McDonalds and tripping in the dark.

Badguys like Thanos and Darkseid have very low showings but because they also have fair and good showings they are not jobbers

Spectre, Galactus, Terrx, Gladiator, Rhino, Apocalypse, J'onn J'onz, Worf from StarTrek, Mammon ...it is also argued these guys are jobbers

Actually, thats one of the few exceptions to what I was saying about DC's treatment of Darkseid. It also explains away a lot of his lower showings. But in another thread I found out a lot of Comicviners disregard Final Crisis, since I didnt want to debate that a second time, I didnt bring it up.
