JLU Green Lantern vs YJ Klarion

VS

Green Lantern John Stewart from the DCAU faces off against the Lord of Chaos Klarion from Young Justice. GL believes Klarion is a serious threat that needs to be taken down, Klarion is, well, just being himself

Fight takes place in a large open field. Victory by KO, death, or BFR. Starting distance is 100 feet

Round 1:

Random encounter

Klarion's cat is not present

Round 2:

Random encounter

Klarion's cat is present. However, John does not know it's importance

Round 3:

John has full knowledge on Klarion and his cat.

Klarion's cat is present

Who wins?

Klarion takes this. He would have beaten Fate if Fate didn't attack Teekl, and has shown abilities far beyond that of any GL. He turned a sword into a dragon and made it attack Miss Martian once. He's escaped out of every bad situation by teleporting. He's a lord of chaos.

YJ Wiki says: "It is impossible to stop or even contain a Lord of Chaos, because they are chaos incarnate. Thus, even Doctor Fate stresses that it is futile to try to kill or capture one."

Stewart is outmatched here. Klarion takes rounds 1 and 2 with ease. If Stewart manages to take out the cat while Klarion is making fun of him in round 3, then he takes it.

@thenewbluebeetle007: For this battle teleporting away counts as a win for GL, so if he drives Klarion to teleport away (since Klarion's in character) that counts as a win for him

@arcus: Being for all intents and purposes immortal is a huge advantage, since John won't know to go for Teekl.

Nah, I doubt he'd be KO'ed. He's Chaos embodied.

And I doubt he'd leave as well, considering he can match anything John can do.

Why does that have to mean he's weak? Why couldn't it mean that the people you listed are strong? Kronos's goons had yellow weapons, and that was one of the times they decided to make GL's ring vulnerable to yellow imo

Yeah, I'm not sure we've ever really seen Klarion fully trying.

In the season 1 finale, Vandal Savage was worried he'd lose control and bring down the entire Watchtower. What's that tell ya?

Good point. A full power Dr. Fate redirected a potentially planet busting attack (War World)

Pretty much all he did that season, but yeah.

Still awesome. How do you think Klarion will do in the third round?

Klarion also knew that Artemis knew cause Wally said to target the cat. GL also packs more firepower than Artemis and has a better chance of taking the cat out quickly and efficiently

I don't remember much about YJ but I hope John beats the f**k out of that little s**t. I hate that kid.

Hmm, best feats. I'll need to think about what his best ones were. He destroyed Supergirl and made a giant construct that knocked Superman around during training, those are a couple I remember

Why is round 2 more of a stomp than round 1?
