well if we assume everyone in character flash hits him multiple times and sents him flying that wont be all the time he needs to raise his shield... if they are all in character no one but falsh would be moving at FTL... for thanos in character he would rather destroy the planet or those around him before he would lose...hence a thermo nuclear device that would kill everyone but the most sturdy heroes..

That was superboy prime he has reactions many times faster than thanos. He was able to counter blitz three speed sters.
he was also able to conversate with the speedsters,. sound cannot travel faster than light... unless they are sharing a specific point an place hence......... speed and relativity

Okay Flash got a million people out of a city before a bomb exploded. I think him doing that feat is enough to show that Thanos wont have the reaction time to stop Flash from sending him into the speed force. Okay I will post some scans of the Flash speed and maybe some of the people in the fight.
