Jiraiya vs Danzo

1. The fight takes place in the Valley of the End.
2. No prep time.
3. Win via Death.
4. Standard weapons.
5. Start 25 ft. apart.
6. Sage Mode is allowed.
7. Who wins?

If Jiraiya starts in Sage Mode and is bloodlusted he has a chance.

Does Danzo get shishui (howevers its spelled) eye? Like can he use his genjutsu?

Without kotamatsukami I want to say Jiraiya....

Shisui's eye is an instant win unless Jiraiya is already in Sage Mode.

Even with Sage Mode to start, Danzo has 10 minutes of immortality to kill two frogs.

If Jiraiya were to begin in sage mode he could just use frog song. Ma and Pa and also tie him up with there toungs like they did to pains chameleon IIRC. Danzo would be incapacitated.

Frog Song takes time to charge regardless of if he starts in Sage Mode or not.

Not to mention Ma and Pa's hesitance to use it because of shame of their voices ;)

Jiraya can survive for quite a while in sage mode and he can just do the dodging and avoiding for the toads. And that doesn't really address ma and pa tying Danzo up with there toungs either. Jiraiya might even be able to use his similar to what he did against Konan.

To use Frog Song both Frogs need to be channeling beforehand. Danzo uses Kotoamatsukami on one of the frogs to make it commit suicide and Jiraiya is screwed.

Then Jiraiya is left against Danzo without Sage Mode and plenty of Izanagi time remaining.

Danzo could even cast genjutsu on Jiraiya/Ma Frog/Pa Frog and force one or both of the frogs to stop channeling to dispel the genjutsu. Wash, rinse, and repeat. No Frog Song for Jiraiya.

Tongues mean no Frog Song and any killshot would result in Izanagi respawn. Pouring oil on Danzo would be meaningless... the moment he goes up in flames, maybe even on purpose, just makes him Izanagi respawn somewhere else without oil.

@boringperson: Not really convinced Danzo would break out of frog song easily. According to the databooks only ma and pa know the technique, I doubt danzo would even be aware there using genjutsu. It also warps space so its a much higher level attack than what sasuke used on danzo, and it paralyzes the users mind so I'm not really sure if Danzo can resist genjutsu of that level. I mean if his mind is paralyzed can he even think properly?

As for danzo's genjutsu the frogs and Jiraiya can use each other as partners so that wouldn't work. As long as danzo doesn't get all 3 of them there good.

If Danzo is tied up in there tongues he isn't winning. He doesn't need to kill Danzo to win. I never meant pouring oil I meant with the use of his hair to tie danzo up.

danzo's right eye is standard gear and his genjutsu can be used instantly unlike any of jiraitya's defences, or genjutsus.

its over within seconds. and even if its not, a guy immortal for 11 minutes, plus able to win with a touch (the curse seal).

he stalled until shisui's eye was working again, sasuke should have been down for the count wounded and alone if not for karin, and though he could have finished sasuke off with his final sharingan, opted to try and take on obito to protect his village. and even then obito had to pull sasuke out of danzo's last ditch attack. so at worst it was a draw.

also earlier in the battle, danzo had sasuke dead to rights. he stopped sasuke with a curse seal, then got a wind sword to slice his head off. sasuke got somehow stronger mid fight due to his uchiha body.

Jiraiya wins.
