Who would win in a fight? Also, what organization would you rather join?

Time lords

What can the Time Lords do in combat? I haven't seen anything that suggests that they're capable in close-combat.

Rounds 1 and 3 go to the Jedi, 2 goes to the Time Lords maybe.

and with prep the timee lords are on a diferant level

1. The Time Lord High Council will win or lose this based on Rassilon. If it is him as pictured, he handwaves all the Jedi into ash, or turns them into stone statues. He's shown both abilities in the show.
2. Time Lords stomp in a battle that's incredibly one sided.
3. Jedi can possibly win here, unless they neglect to dodge a regeneration. Although, considering we've seen that Time Lords can burn up their own life forces to shoot energy and basically get superpowers (the Master), they might just do that here if they really want to win.

1. Probably Time Lords.
2. Time Lords stomp; never give Time Lords prep - ever.
3. Jedi stomp.

3. That wasn't on purpose though. The master ended up that way because of how he was being revived; it wasn't intentional.
That said we have seen them use their regeneration energy at will on others to heal them (River healing the Doctor, The Doctor healing River's wrist) so it's possible they could use their regeneration offensively at will. But the Master thing wasn't at will; it was just the whole potion of life mixed with potion of death thing.

@rpottage: It started that way, but he was consciously draining his life energy. Considering Time Lord high council members are going to know a lot more about the process, considering they can both take it away and give new cycles of it, I figure they could do it if needed.

@mrunsmiley: Rassilon has a Gauntlet which can disintegrate anyone at will. He can solo the Jedi

R1: Giving it to the jedi. Rassilon's Gauntlet will make some casualties for the jedi, but honestly, the jedi are so fast that they can take out Rassilon before he can even think to use the gauntlet.

R2: Time Lords stomp so hard it's not even funny.

R3:Jedi pretty easily.

Jedi take R1 and R3 easily, while Time Lords stomp R2.

1: Time Lords, easily. There is nothing that the Jedi can do against Rassilon's Gauntlet

2: This is just unfair, the Time Lords with just seconds of prep created plans to end time

3: The closest one, but once again, Time Lords have the ability to regenerate, and can create massive blasts from the energy (Check Time of the Doctor), but they don't even need to be mortally wounded to use this power, the doctor proved this by summoning some to heal River Song in the Angels take Manhatten, so that implies that they can do the same here

@reaperace: So you think that the Jedi can get past the Gauntlet of Rassilon, which could vaporise people in less than a second, and could potentially vaporise an entire planet if he wished?

@mrunsmiley: They have De-Mat guns, which erase people from existence. Rassilon has a Gauntlet that can turn anything to ash with a thought, they also have Battle TARDISES, the ability to use regeneration energy offensively, and the Moment, which was described as a "Galaxy Eater"
