Azrael is a better H2H combatant. More skilled.

Does Steele have  feats other than this? AZ had an entire mini and some Knightfall appearences where he was olympic/peak human.

It's no where specified that this is his Valley's strongest armour, so I don't see him taking out Steele without a long, hard fight.

Steele is not a good fighter at all, but he is strong,tough, and fast.  John could be able to take this against Azarael.

Why? he's strong enough to lift giant tree trunks,boulders and can even stop landslides.

Can't say I've seen Steve lifting something this big. But then again, he has hurt/defeated characters who are more durable than Steele before.

Presuming we are using the version of Azrael nearly from the end of his series (from which the Azbat vs Batman scans in the OP are from). I doubt earlier versions could stant up to Steele.

I think I've seen most, but either creator or vuviper estimated the exact weight of the tree JPV is lifting in that scan, and the result was just outlandish, bordering on silly. Can't say I liked that they pumped him so high up and then killed him off. Other than that, I acknowledge Steve has insane strength feats of his own, I just haven't personally seen (or I don't remember seeing) something to match this one. But I think that it's up to the writer (Brubaker, on this occasion). The outcome of the fight with Steele could have just as easily been different if all of Steve's upper strength feats were taken into consideration.

Besides the point.  Do you think he can take out someone who actually has a margin of talent plus a plethora of strength and durability?

I am not sure if the fight would have gone differently considering Steve's strength feats. Steele has been seen folding a tank in on itself. I still cannot remember if that was one of his flashbacks of his actual WWII issue feats. 

I wonder if he was that durable back then, or Bru gave him an upgrade.

@Erik: My recollection of the SA story is rather poor, too. Let me know one you check those Cap back-issues.
