James Bond vs John Constantine (No Magic)

Constantine gets an hour of prep

James Bond gets a week

Bond gets an M16 with 48 rounds and a Walther PPK with 16. Standard Agent body armor, fire resistant with electric pulse barriers (if touched by an enemy, gets electrocuted)

John gets his Pyrokensis and his Illusion powers only. Cannot channel demons or use black magic at any cost. Gets 4 smoke grenades and .357 Magnum with 12 rounds.

Battle takes place on a random street in England. James knows exactly who John is, John is completely unaware of James, but knows he exists.

James is in a 40 foot tower awaiting for John.

John is on the sidewalk, walking towards the tower.

Who takes it?

Constantine.

John convinces James to kill himself and then takes his girl.

QFT.

If you gave Bond infinite prep and made John's a random encounter it would still be a stomp for John.

This is a spite battle. If Bond somehow kills John (which is a 1/10 chance) then he could just exit heaven/hell and come back to fight.

Yes, he'll throw an Aston Martin at one of the most powerful DC characters ever.

@retconcrisis: At worse, Bond can get M16 to snuff the city at the push of a button. Plus, what weaponry does Constantine possess?

I really, honestly don't see why this match was even made, should at least take away Constantine's magic.

@retconcrisis: Can you post at least one feat for proof that he's that good. M16 will have knowledge of John's magic. How is he going to convince Bond with words?

Vertigo Constantine can just mindwipe Bond or remove and trap his soul.

With less prep, he's made fools out of ridiculously powerful demons.

New 52 John can blow Bond up or teleport behind him and freeze him in place and then do whatever he feels like. And that's without prep.

Bond has no chance.

first, john has NEVER MET lucifer before except once he went to his bar to get a drink.

second, he never deceived the presence, merely convinced him to save the guy. anyway, the presence already foresaw it.
