Jackie Estacado vs Booker DeWitt

The main character of The Darkness 2 vs the main character of Bioshock Infinite

This is Jackie

This is Booker

Conditions:

-Random encounter.

-Both have no knowledge about each other.

-They have all their powers from their respective game (ignoring comic book and the first game version of Jackie, using the 2nd game version), Possession Vigor for Booker dismissed as it might make this a spite.

-Victory via Death or K.O.

Location of the battlefield: The N.Y. Train Station, picture here.

-But let's assume that the time of the day is night and that some of the lights are off or dim.

Who'd win this fight?

Neither really have much to go off of besides in-game feats. That being said, I think Booker takes this based off of what he could do in game.

@tparks: I think Booker would have to keep his distance in order to win, and to make sure his powers count since he needs salt to restore power. Up close, I think Jackie could really make a mess...

@oniakuma: Ya, I could really see it going both ways. I just think Booker is more versatile. Jackie is too, but I think Booker has more options. It also would depend on the amount of darkness in the area. It looks pretty lit up in the picture. Jackie could take care of some of the lights pretty fast, but that time would cost him.

@tparks: Yeah the pic I posted, the place is all lit up, though I mentioned in first post that we're to assume the place has some lights and/or that they were dim.

Booker, more versatile, more impressive and overall more convincing with his powers.

The game version of Jackie definitely does not equate to the comic version...

I don't really remember Darkness 2 that well been so long. I didn't like Bioshock Infinite so I'll say Jackie.

This is a rather interesting match up. Booker is at a raw power disadvantage, but can still win. He can use the fire vigor to light up areas where Jackie might be using the Darkness. Additionally, if Booker can make the connection that Jackie's powers only work in the presence of Darkness (which he should if he sees Jackie start shooting out the lights) he can lay the dark areas with various vigor traps. He can also use the vigors to keep Jackie at a distance (because he would et ripped to shreds up close). The only problem with this is that in the setup Booker doesn't seem to have additional salts, which limits his effectiveness by quite a bit.

In the end, I think Jackie wins out because Booker will run out of salts after only 4 or 5 uses. Jackie can then use the Darkness to crush Booker.

@force_echo: Yeah this match up seems quite even, it's possible for Booker to win if he does this right. Though Jackie also has advantage with accessing higher and lower levels with ease thanks to the Darkness, since this fight takes place in N.Y. train station. He can reached upper levels easily on either side and use them cover etc. Booker would need to take the stairs since there's no magnetic rails or object, well in this case from the looks of it.

@wyldsong: Yeah, pretty much why I chosed the video game version, since comic book version is just too powerful for Booker lol.
