Fight to the death.
In an open field.
Everyone is bloodlusted.
Start 50 meters apart.
Out of character.
@mysticmedivh: Get out.
@mysticmedivh: Get out.
Chuck Norris is above omnipotent.
Will have to go with Bruce Lee his feats are impressive if they are all true. The one inch punch the, the kicking a punching back to the ceiling , his training feats like catching rice with chop sticks and them having to slow down his punches in movies just so they could catch them.
No one has ever been as great a martial artist as Bruce Lee. He could literally step in front of any man or woman and make them wish they didn't exist. Only way Bruce loses this one is if everyone teams up against him.
@darth_buuk: @thelaughingman_aoi: bruce lee is good but tony jaa is being underestimated here as is donni yen. Those three are are on equal footing.

@nerdchore: I can probably agree that donni yen would be the greatest match for bruce, but i don't know about equal footing. I'll have to look into tony jaa a bit more though. not that educated on him.
@mysticmedivh: didn't chuck already lose to Bruce though :/
@darth_buuk: @thelaughingman_aoi: Bruce May have been good but i can say with complete certainty that he was not one of the top 20 martial artist in the world, simply because he died too young. While he did study many types of martial arts very extensively he just wasn't able too master his own style completely. You should look up a man named guru dan, he was bruce lees best friend.
@darth_buuk: yeah def. Tony jaa is pretty awesome.
@etheral_dreams: lol. poor bruce. kind of a sucky way for someone that awesome to go out
@mysticmedivh: didn't chuck already lose to Bruce though :/
In an acted, scripted movie where everyone was being payed to play a role, and that the outcome of the fight had already been created for the plot. I'd consider in non-cannon/PiS.
@mysticmedivh: Even Chuck Norris said that he would lose to Bruce Lee in a real fight.
Bruce Lee was amazing, and was probably the best martial artist of his time.
Key point there is, of his time.
Bruce was one of the first to integrate many styles into one style, but he did not have the experience to see what modern martial artists see, or train like they can train.
That being said.
Tony Ja > Bruce > Jet/Donnie > Chan
Chan is more an acrobat, gymnast and performer than a hardcore martial artist. Jet and Donnie are both very skilled but they are trained for formal competitions in forms and for points. Bruce will be the first to fight in underhanded ways and do whatever it takes to win, but he can not overcome the more varied and more updated training of Ja.
@misterwhisper: Well said.
This isn't even a debate. . . The obvious answer is Bruce. . . Bruce Wayne that is WOOOOOOH!!!
But no seriously Bruce Lee hands down
I would say jackie chan but he's way to old .So Im going with donnie yen he has a amazing speed and skill and he has at least 40 pounds on everyone else.
Anyone here minus Jet Li could win IMO.
Each one brings something different to the table.
Even Jackie, who may not be taken seriously here because of all his movies, was a master at using the environment to his advantage. In fact, he was the best here at doing that.
Anyone of them could win, saying otherwise is ignorant.

Jmarshmallow
except they fight in an open field, as good as jackie is, hes not winning an open fight with jaa yen and lee
i agree jet li is the weak link here.
still think jaa will take majority.
@nerdchore: Eh...I dunno...1v1, id agree that Chan is outmatched.
However, against multiple opponents, Chan has the best showings IMO.
And no, I don't just mean movies lol.
Personally I think I might go Yen though. He also has some good showings against multiple opponents IIRC.
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: Yen is def a contender, i stilll think jaa's raw power and different fighting style will give him an unknown factor and an edge.
@nerdchore: who is jaa
@alakemega123: tony jaa. He was in ong baak and the protector. Hes a muay thai fighter
Donnie: wide range of skills means less mastery overall. It helps he's one of the actual fighters on the list.
Jackie: not really a fighter
Jet: sport fighter, large fight scenes require massive choreography. In truth, he is a tiny dude limited as a tiny dude would be
Bruce: strongest point was his mind, physically he was only strong for his size. Most of his real fights were in his actual training years, once he became americanized his skill degraded. Also, any person could blitz old school cameras, that is not a feat. Nor is the one-inch punch as it is impractical in actual combat. So much wank, its pretty disgusting. Why remember the actual man when you can remember the rumors, right?
Tony: currently the strongest fighter on the list, hes brave enough to light himself on fire but his displays are heavily choreographed. However, knees and elbows are no joke....as Apachai Hopochai put it: "if you do muai Thai wrong, you could kill someone! But if you do muai Thai right, you could kill someone!"
@thelocust619: i love that you quoted kenichi :D

It kills me that people talk about wank and fanboying but then do it so hardcore that you could kill yourself.
Jaa is the strongest fighter??? Yen and Li at the very least are recognized world champion martial artist.(Not for fighting) Lee is regarded as one of the pioneers to the art and had a hand in teaching a few world champions and invinted his own fighting style. Amature boxing record.
Chan was not a fighter. He was an actor. Jaa, like CHan has no know fights. Even amature ones. At least Yen and Li have some known compeitions for forms. We know they were trained for their time to be world class. So why is Jaa your strongest pick other than wanking Muay Thai?
