their powers are very similar and i'm a fan of both...
Jack of Hearts vs. Captain Atom!!!
i don't know, jack of hearts contains the "zero fluid" source, his brain is sensitive enough to follow up the close-combat attacks of C.A. plus his intelligence is increased.Aaand he can also pop in atoms face...
Yeah, but he's not as durable as Atom, either. Zero Energy is noting compared to the Quantum Field, which is like a storehouse of every form of energy in the universe. And, Captain Atom could increase his abilities through the use of the Quantum Field. Jack of Hearts is a pushover.
jack isn't a pushover...he may be beaten in this fight but assure you no pushover, plus he always goes out with a bang!!

Zoom says:
"Captain Atom wins with ease. He's nearly Superman level (possibly higher since he became Monarch, but Countdown is such crap that I won't read it to find out).Jack of Hearts is not.Not saying Jack is a pushover, he just isn't in the same league as Captain Atom."
Agreed
Strength isn't everything and Jake is no light weight, he can think at computer level speeds, to me that puts him over the top for the win.

What could Jake possibly do to hurt Nathaniel? He's many times more durable that Jake. Jake only has one form of energy, where Nate has control over so many. Because of Nathaniel's control over the Quantum Field, he could easy shut off Jake's ability to use his powers. Nate can also has atomic transmutation, but to a much lesser degree than Firestorm. I don't see Jake winning, even if he can think at computer-level speeds.

his energies are not spefifically one kind, they're classed as concussive but not the same,he projects it through all of his body, and he's not a robot to be turned off,I don't know if CA could withstand ALL the energy jack has to offer, either they explode together or fuse in an energy state. After All they're shells of energy.my thought.

Whether he's a robot or not, Atom can shut off his energy blasts. He did it to the Ray and Firestorm. His control over the Quantum Field gives him even greater control over Jack's own energy. Besides, Zero Energy is nothing compared to what Atom has (which every energy form you can think of). Once the Zero Energy becomes a part of him, it won't have much effect on him. And, Atom is powerful enough (Dilustel Armor is invulnerable enough) to take what has Jack has to offer, and is powerful enough to absorb it.
