Itachi vs Emma Frost/ Genjutsu vs Telepathy

Fight takes place at the Uchiha Hideout

Genjutsu allowed to work

Restriction: Itachi is only allowed to use genjustu. Emma is only allowed Telepathy no diamond form.

Round 1: In character, fight to K.O or Incapacitate.

Round 2: Bloodlusted, fight to the death.

Whoever hits first wins.

Yes since Emma is already in Itachi's pocket dimension or whatever it's called.

Whoever gets caught first loses. Emma becomes completely immobilized for 72 hours if she's caught in Tsukuyomi. Only Uchiha and Perfect Jinchuuriki can break Tsukuyomi, while those with Rinnegan are completely immune to any genjutsu

I was never sold on the limited Genjustu vs straight out versatile mental abilities.

Obito controlled a perfect jinchuuriki for years and dictated every action. It's the best genjutsu feat in NV (apart from Infinite Tsukuyomi)

whoever attacks lands first wins however i'm give the edge to itachi because she would make eye contanct on instinct and soon as she makes it she is dead. itachi 6/10

Emma, all she has to do is close eyes, she doesn't need to make eye contact to get into your head.

You know in both rounds Itachi could blitz Emma Frost, right? If its a fight between Genjustu (which is basically pseudo telepathy anyways) / telepathy, telepathy has a bit more versatiliy.

Emma stomps and mindwipes him. From her feats, she could stare him in the eyes while doing this too.

tsukiyomi doesn't last 72 hours it just feels that way to the victim. In reality a few seconds have past. Also being caught in tsukiyomi will immobilize her movements but it won't negate Emma's various mentally abilities.

itachi can possible blitz.. but in mental ability battles, genjutsu and marvel conventional tp attacks are quite different.. so my answer will be this

Tough call, would make for a cool fight though.

Genjutsu works by manipulating existing chakra in an enemy's brain. Emma doesn't have chakra.

Emma is therefore immune to genjutsu.

Itachi points at emma and locks her into a subtle genjutsu. Allows her to believe she is winning. Itachi then traps her mind and spirit inside izanami loop

Tentatively going with Emma, but Izanami is definitely a threat. Does Emma have any real defense against her consciousness being trapped in an infinite time loop, re-experiencing past memories?

Emma wins, even if she was caught by it, her mind will realize this, and battle back. This is a woman who can beat Phoenix Rachel in a battle of the minds, it's no contest.

Anime vs Comic threads should be banned because everyone hops on the wee wee for any comic character whether it's Batman vs Alucard,Goku vs Superman,or any other battle made of comic characters.Emma doesn't have intel to guard against the Genjutsu and her telepathic abilities will be futile because she's getting stabbed by multiple blades.If prep she wins due to her knowing closing your eyes blocks that I don't bandwagon.

Itachi, and he does not even need eye contact, he can put her under Genjutsu by simply pointing at her like he did with Naruto, that or he could just outright speed blitz her

She can easily notice and negate it.

He doesn't need to make eye contact....Kotoamatsukami just requires you to be in the users field of vision, and since she thinks she's doing so on her own free will I doubt she'll notice before he finishes her off.
