Lots of factors can come into play. Generally, I would say that close combat would go to Wolverine and ranged combat would have Iron Man winning.

Wolverine (not current I heal from one cell wolverine) but real wolverine doesnt really have a chance. For one thing he cannot fly and therefore is at a HUGE disadvantage. Stark could just blast him with repulsor rays from 300 feet in the air and wolvie couldn't do jack.

can his claws cut the suit

The suit has an energy field around it, so I don't think he could even cut him.

Ironman's suit has recorded every punch, kick and action Logan has ever taken. Ironman would beat Logan like he beat the Cap.

He could depending on the conditions, but I wasn't saying that in my previous post.

The picture in itself makes one jump to that conclusion, so I apologize for that mix up. I'm guessing you were just trying to prove that Logan can hurt Ironman.

Iron Man flies. Wolverine doesn't. Therefore, he flies up and annihilates him easily. KO counts as a win.

Not a bad fite. Although I'm sure Iron man's laser could cut Wolverine. I don't no. Wolverine is pretty flexible. I say Iron Man, although I'm not sure it could cut Wolverine. I bet it could.
