You gave stark too much prep. With that amount of time he can bring down gods.
Depends which gods ur referring to.
Anyways I agree Tony has to much prep so he should win.

No he can't, he can't bring down a GOD...we don't want to make him another overrated hero. But I think he can take down Larfl

Please, he's the same as Batman or Reed Richards. His most prevalent powers are writer influence and plot devices. He's exactly as strong or weak as the writer wishes him to be.

I know, I know Stark... which is why I don't think he can take down a GOD with 2 weeks. He had taken down Pheonix...and that's good enough to prove his capability to take down cosmic beings like Lafl..But as for now, lets Stark stays the same.
Wow...I'm not too big on these characters, but is it just me or does Larfleeze absolutely destroy Iron Man?

QFE...what is Stark going to do in 2 weeks to beat Larfleeze? He's got the power of an entire lantern corps at his disposal...Tony goes down hard
Larfleeze. The guardians were so scared of him they personally led the whole damn Corps to fight him.

In 2 weeks I think Tony might have whatever he needs to beat Larfleeze.
But what does that include? Larfleeze alone is equal in power to an ENTIRE lantern corps. Can you point to a specific feat in which Tony had only 2 weeks of prep and took down a guardian-level being? (tough to compare in Marvel terms but name feats and we can compare then)

not that I am taking sides just saying it might not be as one sided as you think.
@Equonox: Larfleeze is a moron. Stark is a genius. Two weeks prep time with banner consult. Think about it for more than a second. The guardians may be ambivalent but they're sorely lacking when it comes to critical thinking. Given two weeks Stark and Banner could come up with literally anything.

Larfleeze is an idiot that is also a one man Lantern Corps.
Saying "anything" doesn't cut it, please give a concrete example of something that could handle someone of Larfleeze's level that Iron Man can pull out in 2 weeks time.
HE CAN DO ANYTHING IN 2 WEEKS.
ANY. THING.

Larfleeze is actually very cunning he just has childish mannerism's.
Phoenix canon is a terrible example of Tony's prep, he made a gun along with other Avenger engineer's and fired it without even knowing what it did. Anti-telepath nano bots are a very good example but not on the level where looking for, Stark cannot beat Larfleeze with prep.
@Dextersinister: That may be true, but I'd generally agree that he's no genius.

Tony stomps. He has access to the space gem. Give him two weeks to figure it out and he separates Larfleeze from the orange source and dumps him in a super massive black hole. Infinity gems op.
Larfleeze should take this :)

He's not going to play chess with Bruce or work on Doomsday devices with Luthor but he's not going to be lured into a death trap either.

lol I'll edit it so that he can't use the Gem I had forgotten he held one for some reason
Forgot the Space Gem myself, but doesn't matter now that it's out of the equation.

Fair enough, most people tend to forget the illuminati all hold a 616 gem. Those things are wicked powerful.

Out of character for them to use it for something like this.

Totally, but the OP said he can use anything he can think of at his disposal and that's one of the things. It's a one off fight with no cosmological importance or scenario, so it's not like it's an in character situation either.

@Dredeuced: The OP says no space gem, a fight of no cosmological importance is the majority of his fights. Tony using the gem for a personal fight is horribly out of character for a few obvious in character reasons such as making people aware of it's location and owner and an important plot reason he would no longer be the dude that fights with a super suit he would be the dude with a magic gem.

...Look at the timestamps. He didn't exclude the space gem until AFTER I brought it up. After that, we were just debating the merits of Tony's willingness to use it.

this is true I did change the OP after Dredeuced brought it up (as I forgot) but IMO I don't think Tony would use it unless Larfleeze threatened the entire solar system or something of the like. the way I worded the OP at first though made it sound like Tony could just use at will/without care.

Regardless I answered the question on why he wouldn't, the simple answer is Tony is it's guardian not it's owner and the world/universe would need to be on the line before he would even think of it as an option.
He can get anything, devices like Cosmic Cube and ultimate nullifier is going to be damn close to impossible to from Larfleeze class being.
In a random encounter Iron Man gets stomped we all know that, but with a lopsided prep there are just so many possibilities, given Marvel has so many plot devices.
