Have your read recent issue's of Uncanny X-Force? Archangel (apocalypses) had telepath resistance and needed Dark Beast make a countermeasure to misdirection.. I know it would seem the same but IMO it's different.. if it was 'unconventional' TP it would mean that he's TP it stronger then Professes X..

Fantomex's telepathy is different from that of Prof X., Jean Grey, Emma Frost, Psylocke, etc. He is not able to read and probe minds. Fraction established that Tony has TP resistance in Invincible Iron Man, so I don't understand what you're getting at.

Yes, although he simply refers to it as, "misdirection".

Fantomex Misdirection's is reality warping. It is kind of explained in Uncanny X-Force #14. I don't have scans but I can type what is said. "Archangel says: We have developed a counter measure to you misdirection, Fantomex. Your reality-skewing echoed between you brains, creating feedback."

Given that reality is totally unaffected by whatever Phillipe does, the description is far more a figure of speech than actually apt.

Reality skewing =/= reality warping. Jean-Phillipe simply skews the perception people have of the actual reality, nothing more.

Not telepathy. Dark Beast (or maybe it was Archangel) called it a form of reality manipulation.
The fact that Fantomex has telepathic blockers in his mask. It should also prevent telepathy from leaving the mask as well as going into it. Also, the Deathlok version of Fantomex was capable of using misdirection on 616 Fantomex, and the telepathic blockers had no effect.
Therefore, I would say that odds are it is not telepathy.
@JediXMan: Fantomex was able to telepathically "talk" to Psylocke despite having his mark on during Nation X, therefore it's possible his TP blocks are functionable only one way, or at least any way he wants them to be. But that example is Fraction so take it with a grain of salt.

@CitizenBane: I enjoyed Serenity a lot, but no idea what my impression would had been had I not watched Firefly before hand.
I watched Serenity before Firefly. It was still easy to understand, and it actually made me want to go back to watch the show.
I don't think I would had faced any comprehensive difficulty either, but it likely wouldn't have had the same impact on me had I not followed the character development and interactions as they grew throughout the course of the show.
