Iron man gets 1hr prep he nows that a powerful enemy is is on the way.He has access to all armors including his endosym armor round 1 post crisis superman round 2 new 52 round 3 pre crisis fight takes place in new York city

every Iron Man vs Superman thread I see its always iron man with two years prep and an array of Kryptonite weaponry,it just always seems like is rigged for Superman to lose I generally just want to know who would win if they met under similar circumstances

1 hour is nowhere near enough time.

My thing is every time i see a iron man vs superman thread,iron man has like 2 years prep with an array of kryptonite weaponry.What happens if thay just start fighting with no knowledge of each other ,

Iron Man acts as the ground, because Superman walks all over him.

I hope im not coming off as a troll but i just generally want to now.Cuz every thread with them I've seen is rigged for superman to loose

@eagerbuttermilk: I don't think your a troll but iron man kinda needs all of that preparation and equipment to take on someone like supes because without it he takes tony down faster then a speeding bullet (sorry o had to make that joke)

@eagerbuttermilk: Superman is basically just that insanely powerful. It's one of the reasons some people don't like him is because they think he's op'd. A bloodlusted SA Superman is a thing to be truly feared, and the only way you have him in a fight that's debatable is to throw up someone equally ridiculously op'd. I'm not sure if there's any variation of Iron Man that could really beat most versions of Superman, let alone the SA Supes. With 2 years prep and some kryptonite weapons maybe, but even that's up for debate, as Superman has dealt with and tanked kryptonite numerous times. It's just that Stark has pulled off amazing prep feats so maybe he does something with red-sun radiation... who knows. Anyway though, that's why they always give Iron Man ridiculous amounts of prep and krypto. gear against Superman. If Stark is going to win, that's what it's going to take.

@helixflameyt: Alright, take it easy. Superman wins, yes. But Iron Man isn't below Captain America and the only time he ever lost to him was after Vision disabled his suit.

Without prep and prior knowledge of Supermans abilities and weaknesses Iron Man isn't winning. He is great at building insanely powerful suits but he needs to know what he is up against first.

Yeah superman stomps every round wait if this ain't 616 tony he could use the galactcus buster? but i doubt that and the hulbuster or any other of tonys armours lose here.

I think Superman would have a real big trouble with Thorbuster that keep up with king thor and the destroyer armor that Odin give him to fight in the Fear Itself series. Hulkbuster could put some damage but it wouldn't be enough to put superman down yet Thorbuster and Destroyer Iron Man could put Superman down, since one of them use electricity and the other is blessed by Odin and use magic energy. Otherwise Superman wins.

is it magic electricity cuz if not I can't see how that'll hurt him that bad,I know he's weak to magic but just normal electricity?

Thorbuster, Hulkbuster, or Destroyer suits would give Stark a small chance of actually landing some legitimate offense and not embarrass himself, but not the win.

I mean, unless he has a 100% heatproof (as-in "can protect him on the surface of the sun" completely heatproof suit of armor), Superman could basically just use his heat vision to pull a Harrenhall and roast Stark alive in his suit (WAY out of character, but not ability)

Best I've seen is being inside the blast of a nuclear explosion in his suits.

The fireball from a nuclear explosion reaches blackbody temperatures greater than 10 ⁷ K.

I don't see Iron man winning.

I definitely agree that Iron Man is not beating Superman without prep and prior knowledge, but Superman is not beating Iron Man with Heat Vision either. Superman can beat Iron Man, but not with Heat Vision.

I saw that, that's why I replied to the other guy. Just wanted to be sure that people didn't think that I believed Iron Man would win, just that Heat Vision wouldn't beat him.
