Tony Stark has a good chance of winning. The whole point of his extremis upgrade was to quicken his reaction time and thought process by completely interfacing with his armor without the need of some medium. He literally became the operating system for his suit, instead of being a man who was operating a suit (if that makes sense). Tony was able to streamline everything to be very efficient and requires nothing more than thought to accomplish what he needed.
Iron Man Vs. Luffy (One Piece)
@cooldes: Luffy is not capable of harming iron man so case closed. Luffy will eventually be hit.
@cooldes: Luffy is not capable of harming iron man so case closed. Luffy will eventually be hit.
Tell me why Luffy is not capable of hurting Iron Man exactly?
@deathhero61: you mean:
Bisoshoku haki bypasses durability, and luffy will instantly blitz?
cause that's all i can see happening...
@deathhero61: no...
Ironman is not capable of touching luffy...
What makes you think that?
Iron Man armor is capable of tracking people who move very fast. Hypersonic speed isn't faster than Iron Man's armor can react to.
...and Kenbunshoku haki grants precog.
Ironman can't touch him.

Ironman is not capable of touching luffy...

Massively hypersonic combat speed with precog? yes it is.

Luffy Armament of Colors is tougher than Iron itself... he can damage Iron man's suit with 1 punch... make it a Gatling and Iron man is done.

The dude claimed Spiderman is faster than Luffy so don't expect much of an answer
@ghostravage: @ifoughtgalactus: his armor and force fields withstood hulk's and Thor's attacks. I highly doubt luffy can harm iron man. Umm iron man's suit is far stronger than iron..........

Iron Man's standard gear can't handle Hulk and Thor... Those "normal" armors get thrashed by them quite easily, and since Luffy can land hundreds of hits in seconds, yeah, his armor is falling down...
Yeah, only thing Luffy has on Iron Man is speed, and it's not big enough of a difference to win this for him. Iron Man takes this.
@soothing_sounds: how exactly does iron man win?
by not touching luffy?
by having inferior durability?
by getting hit by durability bypassing haki?
by having scanners?
scanners <<<<<<<<<<< haki awareness
By being able to fly
by having a kind of healing factor
What's haki gonna do, Luffy's not THAT much faster than Iron Man. Luffy might be able to avoid shots, or Iron man could just level the whole playing field.
By having many, many advantage's. More versatility, similar strength levels, similar durability, flight, better range capabilities, shields, etc etc. What does Luffy have, harder hits, slightly faster, slightly more durability, slightly more strength, and precog. It's just not enough to win this.

Quoted for truth, Luffy is powerful but I.M has too much in his arsenal. If luffy gets hit even once by ironman's lasers its over.
@deathhero61: too much like what?
he's not going to hit him with even 1. and even if somehow miraculously with uber luck and a gift from the heavens, he does hit luffy with one, Busoshoku haki means ++++++++ durability.
how much did flight help CP9?
won't help from being utterly fodderized.
He is, unless you have some combat speed feats for ironman that do.. but until then luffy combat speed >>>>>> Tony's, and add on Haki? Stomp. effortless.
versatility? what's the point of having a multitude of abilities that can't touch your opponent?
similar strength levels? lol
similar durability? what's the use of that when busoshoku bypasses durability?
Better range? how will that help when luffy's right in his face with a gatling?
i agree luffy does have
harder hits
faster combat speed
greater durability
more strength
and precog.
so he stomps.

Here we go again... Thrashed easily?
His armor isn't made of scrap metal you know... He is much more durable than people think.
Breaking Don Kriegs invincible armor
Dodges beams (light speed) and claims they are too slow.
Dodging multiple sharp water bullets and casually large mountain bust.
LOL at people claiming that luffy has never seen heat like Iron Man and he was so hot he was burning under water.
Massive stamina and strength he is literally destroying half of a ship that is as big as two countries. its over luffy stomps

That wasn't even flight, at best i could consider that levitating.
Really, Luffy's most notable strength feat is lifting a big hill. Iron man has held up buildings, planes, rocket ships, and almost all of these were before extremis.
Busoshoku doesn't bypass durability, don't know where you got that from.
I don't maybe because Iron man can just fly away and starting shooting at him from heights Luffy can't reach.
You already seen some durability feats for Iron Man tanking hits from Thor, Iron man doesn't have to play Luffy's game of upclose and personal, and he's definetely not getting one-shotted nor blitzed. I don't even like Iron Man, but i know he should win this. Talk to me when Luffy shows more destructive capability than destroying a quarter of an already small island.
Here are some assorted strength feats:
Xan still project illusions as seen here:
Rather than turning invisible he just projects an illusion of himself or others.
Iron Mans Repulsors and Missiles will be too much.
In the end Tony can just Mach 8 Punch Luffy's face and KO him faster than he did Savage She Hulk.
Luffy has nothing on IM here. Especially his Extremis Armor.
@noone301994: Should i show now a Hulk-Buster Iron Man suit getting one shot'd by Hulk himself? I can show single instances where the suits are trashed the same way you're showing him surviving 1 hit... Also, don't reply to me, i sincerely dislike you.
@ghostravage: Please show me that then, Hulk fan boy. It doesn't matter whatever you say or show. Surviving those hits that I showed is proof enough that he is much more durable than you make him out to be. If Luffy has the force of Sentry, Hulk, Thor, or a nuke, which i doubt, then that doesn't mark an instant victory against Iron Man since he has tanked hits from all of them without more than a scratch.
@noone301994: I never said 1 shot, while Thor only landed >1< hit with the hammer in that scan, Luffy can land hundreds and hundreds of island leveling punches on him... He doesn't need to have the strength of Hulk or Thor or Sentry... Actually, having that strength will make this a spite thread. Luffy is WAY faster than Thor and Hulk combat wise... Anyway, here are the scans... Ignorance fanboy...
Avengers + X-Men #7
Iron Man is getting trashed by his own tech, Hulk-Buster tech, then Hulk comes and one shots the same Hulk-Buster who was trashing Iron Man.
If Luffy hits him enough times... The suit is going to give up.
@cadencev2: Luffy is immune to blunt forces... I don't think flying into him at mach 8 speed would do anything on Luffy rather than give him momentum to counter with a headbutt.
@ghostravage: Wow that's cool. I'm adding those scans to my collection. Are there any more instances of Hulk one-shotting Iron Man? Or is this the only time he does it?
Also, based on physics if Iron Man is flying in the air and Luffy jumps in the air to hit Iron Man he won't be able to shoot 1000 island leveling punches at Iron Man. The first hit will launch him away (if he even hits Iron Man since he is very maneuverable in the air) and by the time Luffy reaches Iron Man or gets close to him Iron Man will already have counter measures to prevent himself from being hit again (energy shield, sonic attacks, launching missiles, creating illusions). Once again Iron Man is underrated.

How about Mach 8 with a Repulsar Blast that knocks Hulk beings on their butt? Thought so.
@cadencev2: Maybe, then the only problem would be actually tagging Luffy.

I believe this is the only time he one shot's a Hulk Buster.
- Based on physics, if Luffy reappears on top of him and starts hitting him from above, he could land clean hits on him without any trouble rather than any maneuver Iron Man tries to do...
- I doubt Iron Man will react to a foe that can possibly move at mach 10 while combating... But let's say he manages to do it... That's doesn't take out the speed advantage Luffy has. And i believe Iron Man's battery<Luffy's stamina.
- No one is underrating Iron Man, he just loses here, he's fighting someone who can damage him and has a significant superior speed.

Not a Problem when Iron Man had Spider Sense thanks to Civil War fiasco ;)
@cadencev2: And how does Spider Sense stops Luffy from dodging that attack? Also, does that feature comes within the Standard Equipment? Or its just a 1 time feature?

It was adapted in Extremis to enhance his performance against Spider Man level speed beings. So its standard.
@cadencev2: Extremis is Standard? Anyway, how does that stop Luffy from avoiding the attack, when Luffy is WAY faster than Spider-Man lvl beings and his Precognition works a lot better.
