Battles are won by KO or death.
Round 1- Random Encounter
Round 2- 1 week prep
I'm assuming this is MCU Iron Man?
I don't really remember much of Chronicle, but as I recall they only had TK abilities. I can't really imagine Tony using lethal force against a group of teens, but since you said death is an option, I'm gonna give an exception here and say that he will. Considering that the kids only have (and correct me if I'm wrong) human-level durability, Tony in the Mark 7 (according to the OP picture) has enough firepower to take them down. I don't think their TK will work against Tony's repulsor tech or lasers. As long as he hits them before they try TK-crushing him or hurl objects at him. I think the armor can keep up with the speeds of the teens as well, and as shown in Avengers (the part where he banks corners to cause Chitauri flyers to crash), Tony's got maneuverability. They probably wouldn't be able to tag him either. It's also worth noting that Tony has more combat experience, and as shown in Iron Man 3, has a gift for off-the-cuff improvisation in terms of tactics.
Round 2 definitely goes to Iron Man, because a genius multimillionaire with one of the most advanced tech companies in the world would be able to do more with the time than three teenagers.
He could just as easily KO them if he can kill them right? I mean in the first movie he had armor that could distinguish between hostile and civilian iirc.

It might be trickier though - Iron Man's arsenal overall is pretty lethal. As for that scene, yeah his armor can distinguish between hostile and civilian, but I think the munitions he fired at the terrorists (who were holding the civvies hostage) were lethal. All of the terrorists dropped like sacks instantly, so I'm assuming they were some sort of bullet-type thing?
With a week prep couldn't he make some non lethal weaponry? How good is the kids' damage soak?
For Round 2, that's definitely an option. If he can study and track down the source of their powers, he might even be able to develop an antidote. I remember the kids don't have superhuman durability - one was killed by a lightning bolt and another took a statue's spear to the chest.
@veshark: I take it they're from a more realistic whatever then? No slapstick comedy at all?

Haha no, the concept of the movie was 'what if Peter Parker was from the Facebook generation'? It's sort of a more modern, darker take on the traditional concept of teens with powers.
Chronicle Team lacks the control to do any significant to the armor, usually TK smacking thing (blunt force). Which Iron Man has a ridiculous high resistance to. Also let's not forget he trumps them in durability, destructive capacity, & stamina.
Side Note: Is the pain sharing still active? Example when one is in distress, all of them get a headache & nose bleed.
Round 1: The Teens win. Andrew would be tough enough on his own let alone the other 2.
Round 2: Iron Man takes this.
wasn't there four people in chronicle with powers?
correct me if im wrong of course.

@the_last_son_of_czarnia: Chronicle is one of my favorite movies since the villain isn't evil for the heck of it. Basically Andrew Detmer, a lonely teen with an abusive father and a mother who is dying from a medical condition, and two of his friends gain telekinetic powers and he lets the power go to his head. He believes he is now the "apex predator" and should not fell remorse for killing others since it means no more to him than crushing an ant. You should watch it, it's pretty good.
Round 1: Matt, Andrew and Steve rip Tony apart.
Round 2: Other way around, Iron-Man rips them apart.
