Iron Man vs. Batman

Who's up for some controversy? Morals on, multiple scenarios. S1: No prep, full arsenal for Batman, one suit for Tony (assume Bleeding Edge, non hulk or Thor Buster). S2: One day prep for both, full arsenals for both. Takes place on Coruscant at night, local stormtroopers/ clones are hostile to both combatants. Go!

Pretty sure Tony stomps both rounds.

Batman both rounds.

Ironman destroys batman.

What make you said that Tony will underestimate Bruce.I don't recall Bruce ever beating a Iron Man level character with one day of prep.

They are really both questions that you didn't really directly answer.

....every time I see people put Batman up against people that are WAY out of his league....I die a little inside.

And odd enough how the reasons for "Batman winning" are completely......idiotic. Or just ignorant,I guess. Either they completely overestimate someone of Batman's abilities (when has he ever taken on Iron Man level characters? Because Iron Man destroys Batman in like...every category-tactical diversity in equipment,physicals BY FAR in armor,intelligence,preparation time,etc),or they show little to no knowledge of the other character in question. Basically,stop putting Batman up against characters that are not street levelers.....

For example: Batman vs Midnighter

"Batman wins because Batman can deactivate his enhancements with an EMP" (btw,he can't,I was just demonstrating the ignorance of some people.....I mean,I don't even know if there are any straws to grasp anymore).

Anyway,this doesn't go to anyone in particular.

Even the Mark 16 would wreck Batman.

Bleeding Edge is overkill. Anything Batman has in his arsenal, Iron Man already has in his suit (and a better version).

This is no contest.

And I've seen more impressive things with prep from Iron Man to be honest...although Batman is no slouch in this department. But I still feel Tony has the edge.

I mean,hell,his Bleeding Edge armor wrecked much of the X-men,and even had contingencies against Kitty Pryde,but that doesn't even matter here.

And by the way,when has Tony regularly underestimated his opponent? Do you see what I mean by "grasping at straws"?

With Tony's arrogance you really think he's going to take a guy who dresses up in a Bat suit seriously and takes a look at his rogues gallery and laughs. Thats how he'll underestimate him plus Batman has access to every peice of gear he's ever had and Iron only gets extremis...

Tony Stark had talk and met to a super human that is dressed as a spider and a meta-human that is dress as the American flag countless time.What would make Bruce more outrageous than Spider-Man.The OP said that Tony have the Bleeding Edge armor.

@mikep12 Why are you banking on Tony dismissing even the slight possibility that Batman is a threat(he's really not but whatever)? The man has fought side by side with a guy who talks to ants as his superpower..it would be foolish of him not to be prepared for whatever Bruce might think of bringing to the table. He may be arrogant but he's been around more than his fair share of superheroes to know not to judge a book completely by it's cover.

@homicidalmaniac: @juiceboks: He fights along side people what does that have to do with him fighting someone considerably inferior who has every peice of tech ever (soul steal batarang) I've seen Tonys arrogance displayed plenty even recently trying to hack a a shield hulk buster suit but ultimately failed thinking he could actually do it.
