How exactly would Iron Man win?

Iron man, easily.

With the extremis armor, his shields are more than capable of taking any kind of punishment that Aquaman can dish out, while his repulsers are more than capable of knocking Aquaman out.

It's just a weird fight altogether. Iron Man could be ripped apart by Aquaman, up close, but all Iron Man has to do is stay at long range.

However, this match is spite considering you've put them both underwater...

Ironman. He has range advantage. It's idiotic to assume that Tony would just throw punches rather than shoot laser's etc,. lol

If Iron Man is also underwater, then Arthur does him like Namor did. One thing people forget about Arthur is that he is insanely fast underwater. Both pre and post reboot, he has casual hypersonic(mach 5+) level speed feats underwater. It won't matter if Tony pulls back to repulser/unibeam/laser spam. Why? Because first of all, Aquaman is a better underwater combatant, fast enough to dodge, and will call a couple thousand sea creatures to attack Tony at once. Now unless anyone thinks Stark can fight an army of monsters and Aquaman in his own yard, I'd love to hear that.
