Iron Man (Bleeding Edge armor) vs. Invisible Woman

I have seen many Iron Man vs Sue arguments but I have yet to come across one that mentions one of Iron Man's best and most upgraded suit.

Both are in character and the battle takes place in a desert wasteland. Iron Man starts off flying 5,000 feet above her but is making his way toward her. Both have no prep. Win by KO or death.

However, Susan is not to be taken lightly. I'm sure he could find a counter measure to her powers. Like, he did for Emma Frost's telephatic abilities? Something similar might work.

There are few people that bloodlusted Sue can't take.

A better fight would be standard Sue vs Tony.

I think that in his bleeding edge armor he would be too fast for her to hurt or kill him. When she tries to create shields inside of him and expand them he will be moving too fast for her to accomplish this task. If this fails, and she is able to somehow find a way to get around his speed, I'm sure he could just activate his power shields and by his shields being up it could prevent her from going in. I do still think that he would be too fast for her to do anything to him. In this armor his mind and body are enhanced on such superhuman levels that he reacts as fast as he thinks and is able to think at a much more efficient rate. His arc reactors is much more powerful than before and that means it enhances his repulsor beams, strength (100 tons), and other weaponry (energy blade). Plus, it is very unlikely that she would be able to harm Tony.

@noone301994: How fast can Iron Man move in this armour? Invisible Woman has reacted to lightning... Her force fields have already tanked Human Torch's supernova, Thor's clone lightning blast twice, a tsunami, a gamma bomb explosion.. She already broke a celestial's armour, damaged a celestial and managed to block some of his attacks... Defeated Exitar, defeated Jean Grey by blocking her TP and TK with force fields, blocked one of the Silver Surfer's attacks, held Gladiator in a force field, helped blocking The Void...

@mythologico4: Well his power source is so powerful its pretty much self sufficient so with a new and high powered arc reactor everything is essentially enhanced. In his extremis armor he clocked in flying at mach 8.7 which is over 6620 miles per hour, so if he has an even stronger power source to charge the boots then i imagine he is faster in his bleeding edge armor suit than his extremis suit. In fact, I'm pretty sure everything bleeding edge has is dominant to extremis' armor. Idk how fast it is exactly but theres no way it could be slower because bleeding edge is like an upgrade of extremis.

Iron Man stomps, he has thermal sensors and he can oneshot with sonics even if he can’t break Sue‘s forcefields (which he can).

How can she win, she’s outclassed. Iron Man has better stats, invisibility counters, and can turn invisible himself lol

Iron Man's better stats doesn't mean a thing to Sue and he's the one that's outclassed here. Sue can naturally see anything or anyone invisible so Iron Man's invisibility is useless here.

Iron Man can't break through Sue's force field (scaling or not) as for sound passing through...

Here are about ten times Sue's force field has blocked sound.

@scarlet_wiccan: Being soundproof doesn’t mean much unless you have feats that show her forcefields can block out sonics as effective as Iron Man’s, which were nearly able to kill the likes of Juggernaut. Iron Man has also been able to break the likes of Doom’s and Magneto’s forcefields, so it’s much more likely he can wear down Sue than vice versa.

sue wins this stronger more durable and if she gets pissed she could take him down from the inside out

Don't try to scale with characters out of Iron Man's league, Magneto and Doom's shields have blocked far worse than Iron Man on a consistent basis, meaning Iron Man breaking their shields is obvious outliers for him. For the record Sue's force fields are stronger than both Doom and Magneto's with scaling and without it.

If you have random knowledge on the Fantastic Four then you should have an idea of just how far I can scale with Sue, so let's talk consistent destructive capabilities for Tony without scaling to prove he stands a chance here.

OT: Classic Sue could contain a Gamma Bomb, a Gamma Bomb releases 350PJ of energy while the Tsar Bomba (most powerful man-made nuke) releases only 210PJ of energy.

There's a non-scaling, quantifiable feat, give me one for Tony.

Okay solid. Do you have a scan of the gamma bomb releasing 350 PJ worth of energy? Iron Man in his Hulkbuster suit had repulsors with enough energy to power an entire continent. He has casually destroyed mountains on multiple occasions, and he’s even cancelled out Richter Scale 9-11 earthquakes with his repulsors.

@steelman2020: I don't have the scan of the Gamma Bomb, but it says it releases 350 PJ of energy on the Comic Database, it was stated somewhere in a Hulk comic.

The continent feat is hyperbole, unless it actually caused continent-wide destruction. How big are the mountains he destroyed? You get city block sized mountains and you get mountains that are bigger than a city.

Some other feats for Sue include her casually shielding from a Shi'ar weapon that created a large crater in Fantastic Four Vol. 1 #340/#341, In the same issue Sue casually shields from Iron Man's repulsors combined with Human Torch's Nova Flame Intensity. Sue can also create city-sized force fields.
