Eh, I'm pretty sure Tony one-shotted Simon. Honestly, I think Cannonball is a greater threat to Tony and Rhodey than Simon is.

I doubt it. Simon won't be able to contend with Tony and Rhodey if they take to the air (which they most likely will), and CB won't be able to help much because of their suits' mobility whilst flying.

Basically. Team 1 would have to play it smart and catch him off guard somehow. Simon isn't a threat.

That's besides the point. You said Wonder Man proved too much for Tony and almost killed him in the Avengers Annual, when in reality it took Stark about 5 seconds to win. I offered a correction, not an opinion.

But in the same issue Wonder Man escaped easily at the end, suggesting he could have escaped anytime he wanted.

After all he's fueled by chaos magic and pretty hard to hurt physically.

Wait, wait, wait. Wonder Man is as strong as he was, but Iron Man just has a way to easily defeat him. The same with Pulsar, if she wouldn't use her speed. Wonder Man stomped Ms. Marvel currently, so I don't belive that he is so weak. And about WWHulk allias... WWH is full of PIS. Besides all Mighty Avengers stories didn't give WM as much attention as he deserved. I don't remember even one story in which Bendis let him be a "prime hero". Without energy trick - Wonder Man solo. With energy trick - Sam would take out War Machine and probably Tony, if Iron won't outsmart him somehow.
